Just as a quick update on this: After some struggles getting the SDK installed on this machine (previously used it on school computers, so yeahhhh~), everything seems to work! (Note to anyone interested: Even if you have a x64 machine, you'll want the x32 versions of everything required, or else you'll face hours of headaches as nothing proceeds to work. This page will probably help with the initial install. This page, meanwhile, has instructions on how to get official app files to work. Getting the files in the first place is easy enough off of the official android marketplace, so I leave that up to you. Happy buying~)
Fair warning, though: it's a bit memory-intensive and sluggish, or maybe that was my fault for trying to emulate a tablet right off the bat. I'd recommend choosing a phone off the emulation list, to be on the safe side. Also, grab something free off the marketplace to make sure your system can handle emulating at all before you buy anything, but that's kinda common sense I guess.

Sorry, derail over X3 Hope I helped, if anyone needs further instruction, send me a message or something and I'll do my best to help.

Do you happen to be at an airport in Kupai Lumper? Because that would be cool.

The Internet here isn't letting me access YouTube. My app for it doesn't work and all the embedded videos show up as google search for some reason.

And thats really odd that you can't look up YouTube. Last time I used the net at the airport, things were fine. So did you spend much time in Malaysia? Or are you just here on a connecting flight?

  12. I know in the first game, Himuro will mention the rumor that some of the students think he's the prototype model for robot teachers. I dunno if this shows up again in this game, though. It's got to be both the most ridiculous and most plausible rumor out of all of the rumors about the church, or at elast I thought so.

I've always wondered, why was the church built on the school grounds in the first place? I don't know if they ever answered that in the first game, but I was wondering if it gets a mention here?

It looks like an abandoned church. Why else would there be no one else around during confession time? Maybe the school just maintains it because it knows P-chans need it for their happy endings with love interests?

Uhh... when I was a kid, I went to a school that had a functional church in it's grounds. I don't think it's that rare. D:
Suzurin, Antiqua, Randissimo and 5 others like this.
  15. It's not quite abandoned in the first game, it's just locked and nobody used it for anything, but it seems rather well-maintained (I've heard in one ending that you run into a janitor in there, so they obviously have someone cleaning it). That's why I'm wondering why it was there in the first place--if no one was ever gonna use it, what was the point in building it?

To only be built so that one pair of lovers can declare their love for each other and that's it seems like a bit of a waste to me. But then again, I went to religiously-affiliated schools most of my life, so the churches on school grounds were always used. At least the lighthouse in the second game had a purpose until it stopped working/wasn't needed anymore, and it seems much more reasonable to me that it would still be used to some extent because there are some lighthouses that are maintained as historical landmarks and all that.

Functional, as in it was there but nobody used it? Because where I live, it is rather rare. Which is why I don't understand why it's there.

Functional, as in had mass every sunday and was used for catholic celebrations.
Suzurin, Antiqua, Randissimo and 4 others like this.
  17. Nah, the church in the first game seemed like it was never used for anything. It was just there. Himuro mentions who built it, but as far as I know, it's always locked except at the end of the first game.

Where I live, churches that don't get used get torn down. I remember a big fuss over a church that was going to be torn down but people were saying it was a historical building. I don't remember what the outcome of that was.

Hazuki's grandfather was a German architect who was friends either with Amenohashi or Amenohashi's father and designed and built it for him when he opened the school. That's why the stained glass windows are scenes from the German fairy-tale book.

Randissimo, that video's going on my favourites list. And it's jostling the previous champion's elbows. woo SEA people~

Anyway, we start off a new week with a chat with Miyo! And then I find that Seiji is still :| but we apparently push a lot of his buttons:

This is as close a mechanical representation of tsundere as it gets~

Cultural festival preparations! I like that P-sama is told by Himurocchi in no uncertain terms that she's supposed to be practicing with the band for the two weeks, but she spends them putting up signs instead. They are very pretty signs however.

    Middle-school Girl A: "Karen-sama~!"

The actual festival day finds Karen mobbed by her adoring middle-school fans.

The performance goes well! All that signwork must've paid off.

We sneak a peek into the classroom where Miyo is doing her fortune-telling. Pretty pretty dress~

Miyo: "Hey... How long are you going to keep peeking?"
    P-chan: (!!)
    Miyo: "That's bad manners... Bambi."

Oops, busted! Bambi reacts by flipping up her tail and bounding off.

And that's the end of P-chan's first culture festival! It so happens that it falls right on her birthday, so who else tearfully shows up the next day but-

Karen: "Bambi~! Sorry this is late, it's not that I forgot! Happy birthday! Here's your present."
P-chan: "Wow, you remembered. Thank you!"
Karen: "I'm glad I could make you happy. Well then, ciao!"

P-chan: ("Raspberry shower gel"... Wow, it's lovely! I wonder if Karen uses this too?)

Piano-sempai doesn't turn up, but he pops by the florist the following week while we're working.

Shitara: "I just dropped by while window-shopping. Get me a bouquet suitable for the house."

Then he wears the same thing to our next date. They should totally give us the option to call them out on that, hmph.

Shitara: "When you look at things from this height..."
P-chan: "It makes you think about how tiny we are, doesn't it?"
Shitara: "Yeah, it's a vast world. Much more expansive than even the scene we see before us."

    The fruits of our labour:

Another day, another trip to the incinerator! This seems to happen a lot. P-chan is on the way there when she hears coughing and sees someone familiar poised in a classroom window:

    Shitara: *thump thump* "Cough..."
    P-chan: (It's Shitara-sempai. I guess he's on cleaning duty today.)
    Shitara: *thump thump* "Cough, cough!"
P-chan: (That's not a good place to be beating those dusters...)

Shitara: "You... What are you doing over there?"
P-chan: "I'm on cleaning duty. I was going to throw out the trash-"
    Shitara: *thump thump* "Cough, cough..."
P-chan: "...You know, if you stretch out your arms more and do it a little lower-"

Shitara: *thump* "Cough... Shut up, it's none of your business how I choose to do this."
    P-chan: "But..."
Shitara: "...You're annoying. Go away." *thump*
    P-chan: "Wah!"
Shitara: *thump thump* "Hmm, I suppose this is a less suffocating way to do it."
    P-chan: "Isn't it?"
    Shitara: "...Go away."

I wonder if he's been doing this all this while before we came along to rescue him. That's kind of cute... <.< Note: I forgot to take screenshots of the last few lines after the first "go away", so it might not be exactly right. The gist is there though!

Then one night, he calls us of his own accord.

Shitara: "It's me. Are you free to talk at the moment?"
    P-chan: "What's the matter, Shitara-sempai?"
Shitara: "Nothing in particular. You don't mind, right?"
    P-chan: "?"
Shitara: "Me calling without a reason."
    P-chan: "Fufu, of course I don't ♥"
Shitara: "You're smirking right now, aren't you?"
    P-chan: "That's mean. I'm not."
Shitara: "You are. I can see it."
P-chan: "Geez... If you're going to say things like that, I'm going to hang up."
    Shitara: "Wait, I haven't..."
    P-chan: "..............."
    Shitara: "...You're smirking. Right now."
    P-chan: "I said I wasn't!"
Shitara: "Fine, I'm hanging up. ...Sorry for taking up your time."
P-chan: "Not at all. Good night, Shitara-sempai ♥"
Shitara: "Haa... I get the feeling I've lost..."
P-chan: (Then it seems I've won?)

    <3

Exhibit B: In which a tsundere goes "I'm meeeeeelting" (mechanically)

Then we go shopping during the next flea market! Winter's upon us and our current wardrobe seriously lacks sufficient insulation against the cold, so we pick up a coat and some shirts just in case. Karen finally shows up and promotes us to Fashion level 2! This lets us put together Ultra outfits when we light up six bars of the same style:

But no time to lose, the tests are upon us! This time P-chan doesn't fail anything, so she moves up a little in the ranks:

Top to bottom: Miyo, P-chan, Ruka, Kou, Karen

Shitara: "How should I put it... Half-baked, or mediocre, or safe... It's neither good nor bad, just ordinary."
P-chan: (...I need to work harder next time!)

    Don't sweat it, we're getting there~ Slowly~

With the thawing of the sempai comes new activity animations!

P.S. It's easier to find Seiji adorable when I remember that he's behaving as a senior to P-chan in tandem with his own personality/upbringing, which makes a lot of the things he's said (or not said) make a lot more sense in retrospect. <3

I've been taking screenshots of the successful chocolate I make. I'll post them when I get a chance. There's also the GS3 wiki. It's in Japanese, but you can sort of get the basic idea with Google translate. It helps to know katakana to double check the translations though, as it sometimes usually messes up the order. Okay! Here they are. Some of these were made on actual playthroughs while some of them were made on the practice minigame, so it may be harder to unlock the items you need to make some of these than it is for others. A couple other hints and tips: placement of decorations and the amount of decorations used is just as important as the base and decorations that you use. This game is extremely finicky and I hate it. Sure, decorating the chocolate is fun, but actually trying to get the best of a specific type is torture. Ugh. Anyway, here are some perfect ones I've made. Some of the categories have more examples than the others. Sorry for anyone who is trying to do Pop. No one actually likes mysterious, but I included a few of those for fun anyway.
