((I'm always a Slowpoke when it comes to stuff like this, but speaking as a sadistic an unbiased spectator, this thread has been a blast to read through obsessively.

It is also thanks to this thread that I finally got 'round to watching Les Misérables for the first time (albeit in movie form). And for constantly thinking throughout the film that Marius was useless, Cosette was ~absolutely perfect~ in every way and Javert would've been a better person if he got a cat. And a top hat.))

Also, I am rather surprised at how smoothly the breaching has been going. No need for assaulting just yet?

Well, this IS a team of veterans (except Alko Boom, I guess - QUICK EVERYBODY LAUGH AT THE NOOBIE). They should know which buildings are safe to breach in the early stages of the game. I'd be more surprised if people actually started assaulting at this point.

(I'll actually be really nice here for the newbies and see if I can't prolong the suffering make their runs go more smoothly: generally, the smaller, multiple buildings [houses, stores, warehouses, and factories] do NOT need to be assaulted. There's usually so few zombies in them that if you hit as a group you're unlikely to even get injured, much less lose someone. The larger 'single' buildings generally need to be assaulted, though there are some you can usually just hit right away without needing to assault.

And because it nearly happened to us in the first round: the library is not one of them. Seriously, I have never done a game where the library isn't a swarming, infested death trap if you don't assault it first. A few others are obvious choices for assaults too. As a general rule, the more useful the building is the more zombies are in it, with a few exceptions.)

I think it's ridiculous that nobody ever gets their limbs broken by zombies, but survivors break each other's limbs and hand out concussions every time they get even slightly annoyed with each other.

Same here! I tend to leave the splints behind though if I don't have enough space, since I usually keep my relationships as high as possible, which means I'll never have to deal with broken limbs in the first place. :D

(Good to know my words of wisdom even from my own ignorance still stands.)

(SERIOUSLY. Though I have had someone get a concussion from the zombies.

Everyone is better prepared than me I leave all that shit behind.)
