(Clearly, he's aware that getting drunk is not the issue here.)
(Clearly, he's aware that you're still wearing pants.)
(That can be fixed.)
: Hey guys, I think I should search this place. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.
(Urgh... I really shuddna drink. I... I still need dere help... I hope I can git to the factr'y...)
I like how Garry's become completely plastered just by looking at the bottle of spirits. (Seriously, he never laid a finger on it.)
(Don't worry, he's saving it for when the situation calls for it, know what I mean?)
((I feel a certain kinship with Garry. I'm fairly sure with my body mass ratio looking at a bottle is indeed all it'd take.
Also a late yelp joining in the chorus of gratitude! In my defense I was asleep before.))
I'll work on cleaning up some of these bodies then. The humans could get sick if they do it.
(seconding all the 'thank you Ana' posts, but too braindead to be witty or clever or anything but a seconder.)
It might be better for you to have someone to watch your back. I'll help with your Search.
((I'm always a Slowpoke when it comes to stuff like this, but speaking as a sadistic an unbiased spectator, this thread has been a blast to read through obsessively.
It is also thanks to this thread that I finally got 'round to watching Les Misérables for the first time (albeit in movie form). And for constantly thinking throughout the film that Marius was useless, Cosette was ~absolutely perfect~ in every way and Javert would've been a better person if he got a cat. And a top hat.))
Also, I am rather surprised at how smoothly the breaching has been going. No need for assaulting just yet?
((The fact that this thread makes people watch Les Mis makes me unbelievably happy.))
(I would say something about the breaching, but it's best I don't knowing this game.
Also, it seems like everyone is switching over to Persona icons. Just as planned.)
((The cult. It spreads.))
((All of which are the INDELIBLE truth. To be fair I never realized he'd be a cat person before this, either. But everythin involving Javert gets better with top hats. I like to imagine when reading the diary for Road Kill that he probably constantly was doing his best to hold on to it and wouldn't let anyone else touch it.
And then sat it down slowly when the mob demanded him.
And then put it on and ran like the wind when the place got set on fire the next moment.))
Well, this IS a team of veterans (except Alko Boom, I guess - QUICK EVERYBODY LAUGH AT THE NOOBIE). They should know which buildings are safe to breach in the early stages of the game. I'd be more surprised if people actually started assaulting at this point.
EDIT: Holy ship Squishy I just noticed your avatar! Persona 3 would totally have been way more awesome if the Evokers were hair-dryers.
(Why are you so mean to me Ana? :'( )
(The hell do you think I've been doing?)
Well. Uh. YOU'RE NOT DOING IT ENOUGH.
Alko Boom, I hate you.
Well that's fine then 'cause I hate you too.
Well, good! So long as it's clear and mutual.
I hate to interrupt the moment you two are having here, but uh.
We found the radio and there's no booze to party with.
Hurry up with that bottle of spirits, Garry!
You're gonna do this to me next run, aren't you? I'm gonna die imidiately. And you're all gonna laugh at me. And then Nitarou wins.
Mmm-hmm. Whatever you say.
Garry, go drunk; you're home.
Why do I always miss the lovefests? Oh well, better late than never, right? Thanks so much for running this thread, Ana! :)
Yeah, I'm thinking it's safe for Ana to add tsundere back into the description.
Yeah, I agree with what everyone else has said with the whole lovefest~
Count me in as a lovefest attendant, too!
Gonna do my best to make my run fun for Ana~
(I'll actually be really nice here for the newbies and see if I can't prolong the suffering make their runs go more smoothly: generally, the smaller, multiple buildings [houses, stores, warehouses, and factories] do NOT need to be assaulted. There's usually so few zombies in them that if you hit as a group you're unlikely to even get injured, much less lose someone. The larger 'single' buildings generally need to be assaulted, though there are some you can usually just hit right away without needing to assault.
And because it nearly happened to us in the first round: the library is not one of them. Seriously, I have never done a game where the library isn't a swarming, infested death trap if you don't assault it first. A few others are obvious choices for assaults too. As a general rule, the more useful the building is the more zombies are in it, with a few exceptions.)
From the very first page:
You've come so far, Vide. I'm so very, very proud of you. /sniffs, wipes away a tear of motherly pride
((Also, this time, no one's broken anybody's legs.))
(The difference being I didn't have $15 to spend to NOT look dumb back then. I have by now and have nearly mastered it.
Except for the mob.)
(That actually seems to be the default injury for my arguments. Knock Out broke Starscream's leg when they were in the GREEN. Decepticons.)
((Thanks to that first run I never go anywhere without taking at least one of each medical implement I have found. I keep close to my heart those undying words of wisdom from early in the thread: "fucking elusive as hell splints."))
I think it's ridiculous that nobody ever gets their limbs broken by zombies, but survivors break each other's limbs and hand out concussions every time they get even slightly annoyed with each other.
Same here! I tend to leave the splints behind though if I don't have enough space, since I usually keep my relationships as high as possible, which means I'll never have to deal with broken limbs in the first place. :D
(Good to know my words of wisdom even from my own ignorance still stands.)
(SERIOUSLY. Though I have had someone get a concussion from the zombies.
Everyone is better prepared than me I leave all that shit behind.)
(Patch 1.1.8 Notes:
Zombies now have a chance to break limbs proportional to the number of zombies killed.)
EVERYBODY TAKE COVER!
(Also, for action, just have Silverbolt keep cleaning corpses since we have to wait on Garry.)
: (Well, the good news is I didn't the bodies of my friends. The bad news is I didn't find anything of them. ...I'm scared. What if they are dead? What if we can't see each other again? ...I need to stop thinking about that. I should watch for zombies.)
(My word, I thought the bottle would be lighter to carry...)
