Unfortunately, no you can't. :( All of your other wounds are treated, and Andrew will chomp down on meds automatically every four or eight hours to stem his fever. It's not something I can control. Would you like to do something else?

Snark is treating Vide, and then both of them will clean up corpses.
The rest are searching for meds.



Andrew, being the smart boy he is, automatically tried to treat his infection by himself.



And both our librarians nod off in the middle of all the undead gore. Whatever floats your boat.

All corpses have been removed. We got some meds from them, which is good, but none of them were splints, which is bad.

Mary's woken up, but Andrew's still sleeping. He'll be awake next turn though.

Note that Andrew has a high-grade fever. That means he's going to die soon. If you want to send him on a suicide mission, you should probably do it before the eight hours are up.

Also note that it's noon, meaning that you are 6 hours and 7 food ingredients away from being able to hold a feast, thus raising your relationships again. That's something you should consider, since your relationships are starting to deteriorate again:



It doesn't look all that bad right now, except for Snark and Oscar's hate for each other, but we've all seen how bad can lead to worse.

Everybody should give me your actions. CSL, Andrew may be asleep, but you should still give me actions for after he wakes up. I recommend searching your current store until it's 100% searched, just because we really, REALLY need splints, and this store and the one next to it is our best bet of getting some, unless you want to breach the zombie-infested hospital.

I'm pretty useless at searching, so I'm going to keep watch. Still paranoid about zombies.

Look! LOOK! MEDICAL SUPPLIES! And Oscar even so kindly cleaned up some of the zombies outside so it'll be safer to breach!

And Snark, Andrew, and Mary managed to finish searching the entire store in a single hour while Vide watched! No splints or assault weapons, but hey, at least we know now there there isn't stuff that we need here.

I assume the next logical step from here would be to breach the store that Oscar just assaulted? If you have any other plans, discuss and vote on them! Also let me know if there's anything specific you want to bring.

We finally found a store with the supplies we need.Of course, we have to breach but should it be a solo mission? In the group we have three people with broken limbs. I will breach the store next to us.

Hmmm, you're right that the broken limbs are a problem, but a solo mission would be too dangerous, IMO, unless you want it to be a suicide mission (but hey, since Oscar and Andrew are going to die anyway...). I generally tend to have everybody breach together, but in your case, it might be better to just take people who are good at breaching and who have good relationships with you?

Whatever you choose to do, I recommend that you assault it again at least one more time to get rid of the mob outside before actually breaching it.

Another option is to try modifying your weapons so they become stronger.

You can also have somebody snipe the zombies while you breach, but since your handgun's sniping stat is 1, that's not going to be too reliable.

I like the assault idea. Although I going to hold off the suicide plan until Oscar has a high fever. Speaking of suicide missions... how many turns does Andrew have before dying?

Probably six or seven more turns, something like that. Just bear in mind that if Andrew dies in the store, his corpse will reanimate in the store too.

It may please you to know this is a general something I do, then XD. I can offhand remember at least one other thread where I maimed a musical classic - One Day More for the Quartz LP - and being I like to go and simultranslate music in my head it's not a far stretch to toss in other words.

Tionivo/Oscar is assaulting the store again; anybody care to join him? Assaulting is safer than breaching, so broken limbs aren't as much of a problem.

You sure that's a good idea, Mary? Mary has like... 1 modifying star, which means it'll take forever to get anything modified. I'll put Snark to work modifying things if you want, so if you want Mary to do something else you can. (Though of course, Mary is pretty much useless at everything... maybe she can watch for zombies, if Andrew is hell bent on his own destruction.)

Also, what would you like to focus on? Close combat, assault, or sniping?

Okay, if they're going to go fight zombies outside, and draw attention to us, I want to start barricading slowly and quietly.

Technically, it's going to draw attention AWAY from you, since the assaulting and breaching are happening in/around other buildings. Like this post to confirm that you still want to barricade.

Hopefully enough zombies have left the store/been headshotted so it's somewhat safer to breach the store now. Just saying. Not that I'm telling you to breach the store or anything, oh no.

Well, well, well... looks like Andrew took something down with him after all.

I just tried opening my save, but for some strange unexplainable reason *cough* Andrew's vengeful ghost *cough*, the game keeps crashing whenever I try to load it. I'm going to restart my computer and see if that solves things, buuuut I highly doubt that's going to happen. So. Urm. Yeah. Hang tight. I'll update you on the situation shortly.

So yeah. Bad news, guys. The save really isn't loading. So, uh, let's imagine that Vide, Snark, Mary, and Oscar died of grief when Andrew got killed, or something. Or...

...we could start a whole new game!

(Let's face it, chances of people surviving the previous game were pretty horrible anyway, so this is probably for the best.)

Because we didn't manage to complete a run, I'll be doing this game with the exact same players, unless somebody is tired of being killed by zombies, I mean your fellow human beings, in which case I'll open the position up to a new player. CSL, videetcredere, Ozzo, Tionivo, Snark, please confirm either here or in PMs that you want to continue participating as a character in this LP.

Since I think we've pretty much gotten the basics of the game down, I'll also be opening up the Custom Occupation Editor for people to use. So if you want to create a custom occupation for your character, you can. (Details will be forthcoming once we've confirmed all the players for the new round.) And if you want to use new characters or remake your character with different stats and/or profile pics, you can too.

(Most my big jobs are due today, so I should be free to properly participate after that. So yeah, unless someone else really wants to play, I'm happy to play with my same character)
