My survivors have never hurt each other (or at least, never managed to when they tried) outside of events XD

Probably had something to do with the fact that they spread a rumour about how two of them HATED each other in the very first turn.

(Hence why I'M doing the opening turn rumour this time around. I'd like us to last long enough to get screwed over by other things this time. :D)

This thread gets more and more amusing the longer it goes.

(Maybe everyone should post/PM their second action to Ana too? I doubt much will change this next turn...)

Good idea! CSL, videetcredere, Snark, Tionivo, if you want to post your actions for the second or even the third turns as well, that would be nice. I'll probably be stopping after the first or second turn to ask for more input, so you can change your actions if you change your mind then. :>

As it stands I'll probably keep searching. This obviously may change.

All right! It seems that some of you are eager for the mutual killings to begin, but one of the survivors hasn't posted their actions yet so I was reluctant to move on. I understand that you're all busy people, so I don't have anything against players being inactive, but as a caveat, I'm going to propose a rule: if I want to post an update, but some people haven't posted their actions yet, I'll go ahead and control their characters for that turn. This should ensure that we can proceed with the game in a timely manner. In return, you can post long-term strategies or goals, and list actions for more than just one turn if you want, so I'm not just doing whatever I want with your character. Remember, as the compassionate game master, I only have your best interests at heart. :3

If you're fine with this, like this post, or if you have any suggestions on how to run this LP better, please do let me know. If people are fine with this I'll go ahead and update without waiting for Oscar's actions. Sorry, Tionivo. D:

I'd put Oscar on searching, but he only has two stars and his relationship with Andrew and Knockout are not too good. Making him cooperate with them might result in them getting frustrated with each other. Snark is watching for zombies, so there's no need for him to patrol. Guess there's only one thing left for him to do...

...anyway. The first hour of searching yielded nothing, which means that this house is now useless as far as rescue clues as concerned. You won't be finding a lot of useful stuff in regular houses either, as the previous run has taught us. (To compensate for that, regular houses are usually empty or have very few zombies, especially at the beginning of the game.) In short, you might want to consider moving somewhere else soon.

Anyway, confirming actions:

Vide/Knockout wants to continue searching.
Ozzo/Mary wants to modify a tool's close combat capabilities.
I need actions from CSL/Andrew (continue searching?), Snark/Snark (continue watching?), and Tionivo/Oscar.

I didn't know stereos had so many sharp edges. Oh ho ho ho!

Focus my searching on medical supplies. If this ends up anything like last time, we will need them.

I'll be nice this time around and give you a hint: at this point, you need weapons more than you need medical supplies. None of you are in danger of killing each other (yet) except Mary of course so you should be focusing on arming yourself well so you can prevent yourself from getting injured in the first place.

ETA: Misread middle-class as middle-age. That makes more sense, but the point still stands.

Then weapons it is.

Didn't you hear? Mary directed Battleship. (instantly, all relations become negative 1000, zombies form a truce with the rest of the humans, all join forces to attack Mary, history's greatest monster)

I suppose the Internet isn't around anymore, so you can just say anything you like; no one will be able to prove it.

Well, if you mean what it was in general, that was Mistress Mary, Quite Contrary, an English nursery rhyme. If you mean why I dragged it out and highlighted 'pretty maids' is is because I was making a joking reference to the reading of it that sees the poem as a stealth critique of the way Bloody Mary of England treated Protestants wherein 'pretty maids' is assumed to refer to The Maiden - or guillotines. Because Mary made a guillotine and I really like English nursery rhymes, even if thanks to Agatha Christie I seem to associate most of them with varying degrees of violence and murder.

(I actually kinda liked that movie for how shamelessly ridiculous it was)

Anyway, I investigate the factory for goodies!

It's uncanny how the game keeps consistently assigning the really weird shit to Mary

My brain shut down after I realized that the explosives the aliens were using were the pegs from the board game.

(It was at that point I realized that the movie was going to be glorious)

Whoah, wait, what? They made the Battleship game into a movie? Seriously? I mean, I know I heard a bit of talk about that, but I thought it was a joke...

*is out of touch*

The only reason I know anything about the Battleship movie is via the million commercials the Hub ran for it when Transformers: Prime was on.

My next queued move with be to investigate the hotel.

I want to tinker more with our toys!

I wish we hadn't been. It wasn't that great of a movie to me. But preferences and all that. Now it's just a waiting game until someone ends up on KO's operating table...
