If you want to choose a different ancestry from the ones listed on the front page, you can do so. It's never explicitly mentioned in the game anyway since it's all grouped under numbers, which can mean absolutely anything.

So, in preparation for the next round, would you like me to use the "everybody submits a chain of actions to me and I do them" route, or the "everybody votes on a general plan of action and I execute it however I want" route? I'm thinking since this group will have more experience/knowledge of the game, I'd like to let this round be completely hands off on my part, as in no more hints and cajoling you to do whatever I think it's best. :D

Hands off is fine, but you'll have to play for me a bit since I have school half the day :3

I think a general course of action is best, since there are a LOT of actions and we aren't all there at the same times.

So what players are in this round?

Umazes, EvilFuzzy9, and Fontaine have confirmed that they're in and given me their character info. Waiting on Sarasha and soundlyParanoid to confirm if they still want to play.

Same, it's almost 1am. If you start and I'm not here, I suggest we breach a nearby house (that's usually pretty safe with a couple of people). If not, have me watch/search, whatever I'm better at.

All right, I just finished updating to version 1.1.6, which means that the new Road Kill mode is now available.



For this next round, should we play on Classic mode? It might be best for LP purposes if we first complete a game on Classic (whether it ends in death or victory). Furthermore, it has a hard time limit of a week at the most (and maybe even a few days), which means that we should be able to finish this round faster.

Or should we play on Road Kill mode? It's a new and interesting mode that I haven't personally played thoroughly like I have Classic, so this will be sort of a semi-blind run.

(I just completed a run with the Madoka Magica main characters though. SPOILERS: EVERYBODY DIED.)

The only "problem" is that Road Kill mode seems more time-consuming than Classic mode, since it's designed to be played for a longer period of time. There's no limit to how long you can spend playing it (until the zombies kill you, of course).

I think we should actually see the end of a Classic game. Also, this team is more likely to make it through if their God Hand is experienced in the game mode instead of flying blind.

There are also lots of content in Classic mode that we didn't manage to see in the first two runs, so. :>

Yeah, I think Classic might be the way to go. While Road Kill sounds fun, it sounds like it may drag for a while.

In relation to custom occupations, do you know the stats for the default occupations because whenever I try to make custom occupations I get worried about if I'm making the occupation over-powered or under-powered.

I'd like to know this as well. It's what's keeping me on trying to make up a suitable profession for M'sieur l'Inspeteur, too.

I have absolutely no clue. The editor just says that you should use 6 stats if you want a balanced character, so if you stick to that I don't think you need to worry too much about it. :D

And Javert can just be a police officer, LOL.

You could make a custom class with more Perceptive(ness) than brute force in it, though. Since... you know... inspectors gotta inspect, as they say.

Considering he is best known for having his ass handed to him by the leg of a chair, yeah, that might be a good idea. That and he was based on the same real guy as Sherlock Holmes, so he probably should have a better Perception than general strength stat. Thank you!
