  1. I like that "wardrobed" is officially a word now. :3

I don't think that me delving into the misteries of the english language is a good idea, but...
That is what appears in one of my old, dusty spanish-english dictionaries. I find it very appropiate.

Kaneda, if you tell me Sebastianing is there as a term, too, I WANT that dictionary.

(This all stems from the German elements in Danish that makes it so ANYTHING you can morph with the proper grammar is a word. Result: Denmark and Germany have the most insanely specific substantives ever seen.)

No, it isn't recognized by the RAE. However, at least in Chile we use name-ando/endo (-ing equivalent) meaning for example, "Sebasteaneando/Sebastianeando: the act of calling someone Sebastián", in the same vein as tuteando which means to call someone in the informal version of "you".

It's... hard to explain. But it is a word I've heard, Sebasteanear.

Close enough for me. And thank you for the answer. I find languages in general fascinating.

Take what I say with a grain of salt. Chilean spanish is the weirdest shit in the universe. If you learn to speak spanish anywhere else, you won't understand us because we speak with so much slang and accent. Still, if you ever want explanations about the variations of spanish in the world, Latin American history or anything of the sort, just tell me. I kinda enjoy rambling about the topic. [/derail]
  8. So far I have one vote for "feast" from Not Sure If Want, while EvilFuzzy9, Sarasha, and Fontaine seem to have no opinion on the subject one way or the other, which means that if nobody objects in, oh, a few hours give or take, I'll go ahead and proceed on the assumption that the next major goal is to have a feast. You can still give me general goals and actions for your characters if you agree to the feast thing, I'll just work them in during or after the feast takes place.

Oooh, a feast sounds good to me~ :D

We'll have to be ready to get the heck out of dodge at a moment's notice, though.

((Geez, game-me! I'm glad all she could find was a laptop.))
Yeah, that's the only problem I have with that idea. Maybe after we have the feast we can go back to the store?

    Soooo, quick question~
Do you think Amanohashi will live through a zombie apocalypse?
Antiqua, Skibblu, Mekkanos and 3 others like this.
  13. Again, Sarasha was the only one who came up with a plan for how to deal with the aftermath of the feast, so I'll just roll with what she's given me, that is, we'll hold the feast in the warehouse and scram back to the store afterwards.

First of all though, I have Breakdown treat Spar's bruises. We non-humans must stick together, oh yes we will~

I sent Spar to investigate the store west of the warehouse while the rest cook, mostly because he sucks at cooking so he might as well make himself useful in some other way.

    And then we feasted!

And now everybody wuvs everybody, so hopefully there'll be no more of this laptop-hurling business!

So yeah, you're back to where you started, right next to the soon-to-be zombie-infested warehouse, and that's a list of all the cool stuff I sent back with you. You also have some ingredients, a few small meals, and tons of snacks.

You know the drill - give me your general plans and/or actions please!
  14. EvilFuzzy9 Magister Mundi Elyscape

I'm not sure how comfortable I am being right next to where we just had that feast... But I'm also dubious as to how safe it would be to head out to a more distant location... My first instinct is to hunker down and wait a little bit, maybe shore up our defenses, but I dunno how viable of a strategy that is.

I think I'll wait for some input from the others before making any decisions on what I should do. We'll need to coordinate our strategy if we want to make it out of here. We're all getting along now, and that's a very big step towards survival -- and escape. There is safety in numbers.

As long as we work together, we can get through this...

    ...or... at least...

Don't cry! Breakdown would offer hugs if he was the hugs type for anyone but knockout.

Also, I am also not comfortable being next to swarm of zombies so may be time to check out some of the building on the otherside of town in search of supplies/clues. Anyone up for investigating/breaching the factory or hospital?

That sounds like an idea. We'll probably want input from the others first, though.

  29. Imgur is acting up yet again, so this is going to take some time. But hey, while you're waiting, why not have a little sneak peek at the upcoming update?

Will the flower, the robot, and the two lumps of moving meat make it? Should the next group start preparing their character profiles? Stay tuned for the next update, which will come as soon as my internet starts behaving itself. :D

  32. Since I'm in a benevolent mood today, I have the survivors assault the hospital a couple of times before actually breaching it, instead of sending them all straight into a death trap. Since we're so far away from the hospital though, this process takes up practically the entire night.

Once we run out of rifle ammo, meaning that further assault attempts will be close to useless since it'll be much harder to actually get zombies through the windows, we breach the hospital.

Ayumu found 3 doses of antibiotics, 2 mops, 3 packets of painkillers and a sponge in the first storage closet.

Breakdown and Logan scavenged 11 .223R rounds, 17 12ga shells, 12 9mm rounds, a bandage, a dose of antibiotics, 2 packets of painkillers and a splint while cleaning up corpses.

A quarter of the rooms in the hospital have now been searched.

Surprise, surprise! Nobody's dead, or even wounded! It's a wonder how much effect maxed relationships can have on combat situations, eh? Remember how in the first run the survivors couldn't even take on, what was it, FIVE zombies because they were too busy trying to kill each other? Yeah.

Too bad there aren't any rescue clues here either.

Spar and Logan were the only survivors who still somewhat disliked each other (not that I blame Spar; I'm sure the memory of nearly getting crushed by a dead laptop will haunt him for the rest of his life), so I spread a rumour about them being distant cousins and it looks like it paid off! Both Logan and Breakdown have +3 Tougher, presumably from the group exercises, so that also helped with that very successful breach.

Our supplies and status. Should we stay here, clean up more corpses and sift through the mountains of medical supplies (LOOK AT ALL THOSE SPLINTS! WOO!), or should we move somewhere else? Plans and actions, people!
  33. EvilFuzzy9 Magister Mundi Elyscape

I say we stay and clean up. Who knows what kind of items we might find on the corpses?
  34. videetcredere Already Beat BF's New Expansion

    Fucking elusive as hell splints.
  35. Sarasha Already Beat BF's New Expansion

Since I'm not exactly great at searching, I think I'll take first watch. And uh, sorry about that laptop business Spar, I didn't realize that you were...you.

    HA! TAKE THAT ZOMBIES!!

Also this --> Breakdown was profoundly disinterested.

How accurate. You're not Knockout, why should he be?

Question, since only 33% of the hospital has been searched, is there still a chance to find a rescue clue?

EDIT: Also, I say cleanup then search. People who are tired may need to rest soon
