Let's clean!

I put Logan on the first watch as per Sarasha's request, but immediately switch her out to corpse-cleaning on the next turn because that makes so much more sense (she has five stars for cleaning, I mean seriously come on).

Also, I put Spar on cleaning because Fontaine was in favour of it and the only other thing he's actually useful at, watching, was taken up by Logan, but...

Yup. That will happen when you put somebody with 1 star at cleaning next to two people with five stars. I switch him out to watch ASAP.

Or when you put people with prejudices together.

Anyway, at that point there are only two corpses left, so I leave Logan to clean while I switch Breakdown and Ayumu over to search. They find piles and piles of medical supplies and little else.


You also have 19 snacks.

And with that, the hospital is free of zombies! For now.



Logan has +1 Tougher from the exercise, while Breakdown has lost his +3 Tougher. Spar and Ayumu still have -1 Weaker from their injuries. :(

Continue until the hospital is fully searched? Move on? (Next time, if you vote for search, please specify how long you want to keep searching - one turn, or until the whole place is searched, or anything in between. Otherwise I'll have to stop and ask and I'd like to keep this thing rolling. :D)

I say we rest and then breach the factory or the house next to us next!

You can only order survivors to rest if they're in a hotel, unfortunately. As a friendly reminder, the first update of every run has information about conditions required to unlock certain actions. *thumbs up*

I tried to write something coherent a couple of hours back, while feeling really really drunk. I came with a huge wall of text about zombies and wardrobes and robots and politics and embarrasing childhood anecdotes involving a narcoleptic librarian, but then I passed out.

I only just woke up and am half ashamed/amused by the things I was about to post, and half glad for not being able to actually post it.

This is why I should be kept away from the internet if I plan to drink.

How do you raise someone's ire cleaning corpses up? By making inappropriate puppet theater or stealing their stuff? Thénardier isn't even IN this run unless he snuck in during Beggars at the Feast.

By being incredibly incompetent at it? At least that's what I think is implied through the gameplay.

That's what gets me XD! How do you carry off something incompetently, by tripping a lot?

Wait, the person most terrible at it is a plant. He's probably just making the argument they should let them decompose naturally so he can draw nourishment via roots.

You... don't really want me to. It's difficult to read even for me, with all the "ç" it has. That key is next to the backspace, and since this is a new keyboard I kept hitting that every time I realized I had a typo. And it has bits in spanish. And chilean cussing.

I saved it for my amusement, but really. I'm cringing so hard right now.

So that's two votes for breaching the factory! If nobody objects, I'll get that update rolling shortly.

I assault the factory first, since it's the responsible thing to do.



We breach it pretty easily. Maybe we'll find a rescue clue this time!



Then again, maybe not. At least we found more bullets for our bullet-spewing machines though!

Where to next? This round been pretty run-of-the-mill so far (actually that's not true when run-of-the-mill usually includes broken limbs and murderous young ladies); why not try something a little more on the suicidal side next time?

In lieu of any evidence to the contrary, I'm going to assume that Logan taught Spar in the secret art of Dead Laptop-fu.

It's surprisingly effective.

I say we finishing searching this place and then move on to somewhere else. What do the rest of you think?

What building should we move on to? I'm not that great at searching so I can go ahead and investigate while you guys finish searching.

I dunno... Hey, Fontaine, Not Sure If Want ? Where do you two think we should go after we finish searching? Or do you guys think we should do something else entirely?

Neither of them are probably awake/free at the moment, unfortunately. Since we have only four members in this group, I'm fine with continuing with whatever you and Sarasha decide. Of course, if you want to wait for their input, that's fine with me as well.

The last thing I want right now is either myself or Ayumi PASSING OUT when we move too the next building; can't we Rest for a little while?

How long does resting take again?

You can only order your guys to rest if they are at an hotel. If they aren't, then they just automatically rest when they get exhausted.

Unfortunately, you can't order survivors to rest unless you're in a hotel.

Shall I take that as a vote for breach the hotel? :D

... That sounds like a horrible idea right now.

But think of those nice, soft beds splattered with the blood of innocents! Those white, fluffy pillows covered in zombie sweat!

Come on, you have some pretty nice weapons, and you can always assault beforehand! I honestly don't think you'll get much better than this in terms of relationships/wounds/weapons.

Yeah, you have assault weapons now, and a good amount of ammo for your rifle. It really doesn't get any better than that. In fact, even a police station breach would be within the bounds of feasibility at the moment. In any case, you don't need to worry too much about breaching places because I'll ALWAYS assault at least once if we're taking on a non-empty house building. Seriously, relax. I'm not here to screw you up. I'm just here to watch you screw yourselves up and suffer for your poor decisions :D

If you guys want to move on to the hotel but aren't in a hurry, I can go ahead and investigate it. It may take me a few rounds to look and come back though.

If that's the case, the others should have other goals/actions queued up in case you don't make it back before the rest finish searching the factory.

You have to wonder... "What would Umazes have done now? What would she have wanted us to do?". Remember how she died.

I think the answer is pretty clear.

Hmm, if Logan/Sarasha doesn't get back before we finish searching, then Ayumu can keep watch until she does.

Investigating is pretty much 100% safe though!

Yep, and that way we'll have an idea as to how many zombies we'll be facing. Once I get back, we can all head out. Though if you all would prefer to breach a building as a group, that's fine too. The hotel a bit far, but we can give it a try.

Hmm, so far it seems like only Sarasha wants to breach the hotel? And you seem divided on whether to investigate first or just breach the hotel straight up? I'll probably have assault it first either way, though I won't stop you if you specify that you want to breach it without assaulting. Anyway, I need to leave now, so take this time to come to a consensus.

So, wait, is our plan for Logan to investigate the hotel while the rest of us search, or did somebody suggest something else? I am confused.

That IS the plan, but I still don't know if you were voting to breach the hotel or not after Logan gets back? I got that you wanted to watch if you finish searching before Logan comes back from her investigation, but not much more than that. Also I didn't get any buffer actions from Fontaine and Not Sure If Want. Sorry, I'm tired now so I'm not thinking straight.
