Unfortunately I am also a lot better at adapting obscure references into quips than surviving zombie apocalypses.

    ...

YOU KILLED THE TROLLEY! YOU RUTHLESS, COLD-HEARTED BASTARDS!
  2. Jacquelle Hatoful Pigeon

Broken Forum: Top Forum of Trolley Hate.

Life Lesson 5: Always attack nice ladies with trollies. You might get something useful!

ETA: Well if I had known whoring my LP out in random threads would lead to random like-spam I might have done it sooner!
  3. Davian Korran Hatoful Pigeon

    Incidently, because of this

I should make the custom occupation while I remember.

    Inspecteur

    Realistic/Investigative/Conventional

Strong: 1 (Because a table leg can kick his ass, but then he is rather tall, so if he takes a swing I imagine it might get lucky)
    Smart: 0 (Because Javert's Intervention, that's why.)
Perceptive: 3 (He is actually pretty good at telling things from glance. Points for noticing in the book that a gun isn’t in a state to fire. In a darkened hovel. While it’s pointed at him.)
Resilient: 3 (He is the LAWR and the LAWR is not mocked.)

Minimum education: None. I mean, he was BORN in the GUTTER. Jail, technically.

Sorry, I'm just very giggly right now so everything looks funny and

    *likes post*

not that I wouldn't find your posts funny without being like this. Screaming at random inanimate objects is awesome

    *likes post*

what do you say? Too early to be giggly? But it's the best way to start your weekly holiday!

Yes, I'm sorry, I'll go away before I get really bad.
  5. Jacquelle Hatoful Pigeon

    ILU <3

    I shall make mine, too:

    Princess
    1. Enterprising, 2. Conventional, 3. Social
    Strong: 1
    Smart: 2
Perceptive: 0 (how the hell else do you keep getting kidnapped by Ganon when you have magic powers?)
Resilient: 3 (Zelda puts up with a lot of crap.)

    Minimum Education: University

Me three, then, since we're all next and the next round will start relatively soon.

    Longshorewoman
    Longshorewoman X
    Enterprising > Conventional > Social

    Strong: 2
    Smart: 0
    Perceptive: 2
    Resilient: 2

    or

    Dead Meat
    Social > Enterprising > Conventional

    Strong: 0
    Smart: 0
    Perceptive:0
    Resilient: 0

I want to be the Longshorewoman because awesome obscure references are awesome but ughhhh temptation. Also, I'll die faster than a trader with a trolley in a zombie apocalypse.

The problem is that I would just go Umazes, and that'd be no fun. Not after a page or so of amusement, anyway.
  9. Jacquelle Hatoful Pigeon

But then I could quote even MORE Les Mis! Besides, you could probably keep yourself alive with careful planning. You'd probably be more of a burden to the rest of us.

...hmmm, maybe I should rethink this encouragement.
  10. Sarasha Already Beat BF's New Expansion

((Why do people always die in this game when I go to sleep?))

Looks like there's a school nearby. Want to check it out? I think this place is going to be really crowded very soon...
  11. Davian Korran Hatoful Pigeon

If there's anything this game has taught me it's that THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP outweighs stats. And logic. And physics. And wounds.

And I chose an anti-social character. GO ME.

    Also

    Is amazing and

    I love both of these.
  12. Sarasha Already Beat BF's New Expansion

    And exhaustion, can't forget that!

We can't rest in the bank, unfortunately. Unless you're talking about Spar's narcolepsy.

I choose to believe that it's less "power of friendship" and more "if your relationships aren't green you become a bunch of psychopaths who want nothing more than to fuck each other up in the most creative ways possible".
  16. Davian Korran Hatoful Pigeon

Excellent point. And the real lesson is 'See Mary; take warning.'

So we ended up getting a chance to kill the trader anyway. Huh.

Does cooking help expand our food resources? If so, I'd say we should probably whip something up.

Is today "wake people up in the most rude way possible" where y'all are too, or is it just here?

    Cute. *snort*

Oh, that's cool. Do you, by any chance, know who I'm referencing? So far no one I've met has been able to identify Longshorewoman X, which is a damn shame.

It transforms otherwise unedible ingredients into delicious meals. I think. No, you can't cook in the demo.

You can't eat ingredients raw, unless you have a thing for salmonella. Cooking makes 3 ingredients into 1 small meal, which is more nourishing than a snack.

I sadly don't know either. I just like obscure references whether I recognize them or not. My off-the-cuff guess would be an extra in a movie or something.

Almost. He is a minor boss in the most awesome ridiculous game ever. LPd by Slowbeef and Diabetus. Both of those are some of my favourite LP moments ever.

It also is a reference to something much more obscure. But even if I explained that, it would be pretty nonsensical for a foreigner. :'(

AND WITH THAT I TAKE MY LEAVE FOR THE DAY, unless I'm rudely woken again.

Anyway, consensus is that we'll go to the bank, cook, and then head out to the school. Update will be up shortly.

EDIT: Sorry, my little sister wants to play Cinders with me, so update is probably going to take a while. Sorry!

Also, for whoever mentioned LP'ing Rebuild/Rebuild 2, I just noticed that you can change the survivors' names. DO EET.

We start off by re-breaching the bank to cook. After that, I decide to breach the little house beside the school because I needed a good location to assault the school from - the bank is way too far for that to work.

    And guess what?

WE FOUND THE OTHER ESSENTIAL CLUE! YOU'RE VERY WELCOME.

I spend one full turn cleaning corpses because I am in desperate need of ammo.

Blood splatter. Shit. I should've assaulted the place at least once more, but I didn't have any ammo for the rifles and we're running out of time. We still need the location of the rescue point. Having the radio and frequency is meaningless if we're at the wrong place. I decide to risk it and breach the school immediately.

Say what? Wh-what do you mean I'm deliberately trying to get you all killed? S-slander! Lies and slander!

One cute thing about this battle report is that the switchblade is the lightest, tiniest weapon you can get in this game, weighing in at about the same as a bullet, 0.05. So it's really adorable that our pretty little flower Spar is using it as his primary weapon.

Logan's injured but I treat her immediately while searching for stuff. Unfortunately, there are no clues here. Also, looks like we have mysterious, unknown, extremely jovial forces on our side... upupupupupu...

"Breakdown, you killed more zombies than me. Henceforth, we are no longer bros."

Supplies, and everybody's just about dead on their feet. Just like all the zombies they killed.

    Anyway, what next?

I like the positioning of the blood splatter on Logan's portrait. It's as if she had just spat blood at the camera.

By the way, don't they still need the location?
  35. Anabanana Hatoful Pigeon

    Location:
    DIS PEAR
Yup, that's what I said! The only thing left is the location and they're set for the rest of the run.

EDIT: Speaking of Logan, should I spread a rumour about her to max out our relationships again? No sense keeping it in reserve this late in the game.

Spread that rumor I love having metal skin. So much harder to hurt.

I vote for cleaning(scavenging?) We need those supplies.
  38. Davian Korran Hatoful Pigeon

These survivors are pretty touch cookies. It's really starting to look like they can make it!

Incidently, there was a feature in the newspaper today about potential violence teachers face in institution schools and one of them was particularly troubled kids throwing tables at them. Tables, not wardrobes, but...

I've heard of throwing chairs. Tables, though...

What do they give children for breakfast these days, steroids?
Skibblu, Sarasha and Davian Korran like this.
  40. Davian Korran Hatoful Pigeon

The whole furniture tossing is new to me, too. In the schools where the kids all have mental problems it's apparently a thing now that teachers have to retire from dealing with kids altogether because of physical abuse from their students.

I'm mostly mentioning this because I thought even under duress people constantly flinging heavy objects at each other seemed a bit wild. I'm not so sure anymore, and that in itself is a scary thing to realize.
