If I do a second run, I'll probably be the deprived dead meat I've always yearned to be. And I may name myslef Lewis so that DK can make some more references and puns.

This is a thing that has to happen in our next run, most ever so definitely.

Well, if you're worried about balance you can do what I did and remove the one star stat entirely. You don't have to have points in all four categories as I understand it.

Eh, only by two points. I highly doubt that's gonna break the game or anything.

Hmm, you know what, I'd rather people stick to a 6-point-spread for balance reasons. One exception: due to me being supreme ruler of this LP realm, I let DK have a 7-point-spread because she has amused me, and amused me well throughout this LP. I also plan to let the players from the first group make careers that have up to 12 points, in penance for killing their game just as they were at the peak of their glory. But apart from those occasional cases, I'd rather people make 6 points or lower.

Maybe take a careful look at the stats again and see if you can rearrange the stats to make a 6-point-spread make sense for Link? As DK said, you don't need to have stats in all four categories. If you really can't, that's fine. I'll just raise the limit to 8 or 7 or whatever you end up with, and let the rest of the players rearrange their stats to fit the new limit if they want to. The new limit will henceforth apply to every run from now. DK will get a new allowance of the new limit + 1 for her Inspecteur character. That might make the game a bit too easy though, and we wouldn't want that, would we? :D

Does that sound fair to everybody?

And while we're doing the housekeeping: players, please vote for whether you want classic mode or road kill mode. We've already had a completed run in classic mode, and three classic runs in total, so we might want to do road kill this time for a change of pace.

EDIT: Also, people who are saying they don't mind going again, please make it clear whether or not you'd like to be added to the waitlist. Because the way you're wording it makes it seem like you're not really sure at this point, in which case I'll leave you off the waitlist for now. :)

I'm really loving this group so far. Link, Zelda, a Longshorewoman and then the principal antagonist of Les Misérables. It's kind of like Roommates with an extended zombie arc.

Except I think, Javvie, in this instance already being dead isn't insurance against zombie infection.

I love how DK has become my default callsign because it's so damned appropriate* and I never even considered those were the name's initials before now and I've used the name Davian Korran for various characters ever since I was sixteen.

*The identifier on a Danish license plate is DK.

Well now this IS going to be entertaining.

I knew that! Why and how did I know that? I don't know.

I'm pretty good at the European ones because car vacations going south on the Autobahn, but that does make me wonder; what do they do in USA? A letter combo for each state, or just one American plate? I know the German Länder are represented as heraldries on the German plates, for instance, to determine precise origin of the car.

Each state has a different design, but that's basically what they all look like.

There's no letter combination for the states- instead, each state (at least that I've seen) has a few designs to choose from, all with the state name at the top and some with the county name at the bottom. The 'default' design usually has the state outline near the center, one of the state 'symbols' (usually a flower or something- in Tennessee, where I live, I think a horse is more common, due to Tennessee Walking Horses; for Florida it's an orange, for Georgia it's a peach, etc) and sometimes the state 'nickname' stamped on it somewhere. But you can get other designs, including custom/'vanity' license plates if you're willing to pay more.

EDIT: Jesus Christ, I looked over the 4 profiles up and so far three of us are poor and uneducated (Zelda being the exception) and in their early twenties (Javert as the exception). I can't wait to see the prejudices the game will set up for this.
