Let's Survive Zafehouse: Diaries!

I KNOW, RIGHT? This has been the craziest day of updates I can remember in this LP.

As for Javert, don't mind him. I tried to explain 'fun' to him earlier and he gave me a blank look for ten seconds before determining he didn't like it. And then I tried to pat him on the head and he told me he doesn't like humans touching him. He's a socializing work in progress.

Hoo boy.

So I breach the warehouse west of the university, grab all the food and the best barricading/engineering tools, and bring them all back to the house, where I proceed to cook, barricade, and kill the zombies that try to invade our territory. None of us are hungry, but we're back down to 1 ingredient again, I'm afraid. Most of our survivors manage to get some rest (I think Link is sleeping right now)... and then THIS happens.

(GAME, SERIOUSLY, GIVE US A BREAK.)

Turn her away. As pragmatic as I'd like to be, I can't bring myself to kill a young girl.

And letting her in would be rather dumb. We've already taken enough risks, don't you think?

For the purposes of the rest of this dilemma, please imagine Javert pacing around, muttering to himself like a crazy person.

Soooo I asked about the whole burning down the mob thing, and a developer just gave me lots of juicy tidbits about this particular dilemma. I'm hiding it under spoilers in case people want to discover things for themselves.

So it's a tie between killing her and turning her away! Wow, you all sure are a timid/bloodthirsty bunch. Barring soundlyParanoid suddenly turning up in the next few minutes, I'm opening this vote up to spectators to tie-break for me. Or maybe one of the current survivors would like to change their mind? Without giving anything away, I just want you to think carefully about the consequences of what you're doing again. Take note of where you currently are, for example.

West of the university warehouse? Gah, I'm too sleepy to think... A storm bowled over a wall a few nights ago and it really messed up my sleep schedule. I suppose at least adhering to character means I can't change votes anyway, it'd be OOC. And he'd never forgive me.

Why is no one voting for tieing her up and taking her belongings? It's the best of both worlds.

If y'all decide to do that, then I'll bandwagon on it. If we're careful.

I think taking her stuff would be better for us than turning her away; she might have food. I'm up for changing my vote if Kaneda is.

On one hand she might have food. On the other, she may bite our heads off. She looks fairly human for now, though, so I'd tie and register her.

(Javert will return to his reguarly scheduled catatonia while I d'aw over the notion of Javert-as-father-figure when the poor bastard never knew his own too well, either. And now I really do need sleep.)

The scavenging operation? That we missed last Tuesday? What a fucking waste of time and effort. See, the problem with all these dilemmas is that we don't even NEED those clues anymore.
