I wonder sometimes how the hell Javert keeps it all straight in his head. He was born nine years before the Revolution, then they have the Republic and Napoleon whom he explicitly admires and then by 1832 he's helping to defend yet ANOTHER monarch.

My idea of it in general is just that he's really the Weberian archetype of the bureaucrat. He'll believe whatever the system tells or needs him to believe. One of the movies has this wonderful line where Javert and Valjean argue and he asks why he is so pitiless and Javert retorts that whether or not he feels something doesn't enter the picture.He will do his duty. He's the officer of the Law and that's ALL that matters.

I'm not Enjolras in this game. Down with the working-class zombie!

My, my, you all seem to be fairly divided on the issue. On one hand, we have the imperialists, Javert and Zelda, who are voting for OPPRESSION OF THE COMMON FOLK AND OUR RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH EVEN WHEN DEAD. On the other hand, we have the zombie-lovers, Kaneda, Ayumu, and Mary, who think that zombies are pretty cool dudes who just need to be reminded not to bite off their companions' heads once in a while. Since it's pretty close - 2 vs 3 - I'll leave the vote open for a little longer. :3

I say ban it.

And we have a tie, boys and girls! Let's not drag this out further - the next person who votes will be the tiebreaker. :D

For those of you who are curious what will happen, I will probably be much more open to the free speech of zombies in my own Rebuild LP.
