Hmm. Seriously though? I wouldn't put it at absolute zero. Right now the success of this run all hinges on the radio. They've already narrowed down the rescue location to two places, so if they can acquire the radio soon they still have a fighting chance. A very An infinitesimally small fighting chance, but a fighting chance nonetheless.

(As a note, I wasn't even aware there WAS a "near death" state, so I should just count myself lucky Pip's not entirely dead quite yet.)
