Hello, one and all, members and lurkers alike. My name is keifufairies and I've been registered since early October, yet I've never made a Let's Play. So I decided to go for a pretty light game for my first LP: Memoirs of an Angel. The game was made by Anigrams Productions and it's free to play (so feel free to head on over here and play it for yourself). As such I'll only be covering one out of the four routes. Unfortunately, I'm not playing this blind; I've played all but one route. So let's get started! Memoirs begins with a sort of internal dialogue/journal entry where Zuleika (our main character) explains the nature of angels, recounts a little history for us, and describes a bit about herself. This part baffles me a little bit. I'm guessing that humans manage to manifest an angel by wishing or praying very strongly for something. If anyone else can think of a better explanation, please share it, cause I feel like mine's kinda weak. I decided to go with well-rounded ruler for several reasons. While it doesn't have any particular strengths, it also doesn't have any weaknesses, so all my stats start out the same across the board. Along with strengths and weaknesses, each class comes with a special ability (gift giving, dance competitions, investigating, etcetera). Choosing a well-rounded ruler gives us access to all of these abilities, as opposed to one. This is also the only class that gives you five turns per day as opposed to three (which will make more sense later). Of course, the well-rounded ruler is only available after you’ve beaten the game once.
