So I was reading the LP forum and there seem to be a ton of Tokimeki lovers. This pleases me... >:3 However, what DOESN'T please me is that fact that several game walkthrough sites seem incomplete as far as one very key factor in the Tokimeki series - clothing. SO! I propose that we make a walkthrough ourselves ^_^ I've done most of the work already, but this list is by FAR incomplete. I made it for myself when I was trying to win Himuro-sensei's love in Tokimeki 1, but it worked well for Wakaouji-sensei and Masaki-sempai in TMGS 2 as well. Basically, just post here if you see something that's wrong, out of place, changed in a different version, etc, and I'll edit this post and give you credit for the info :3 So without further ado: here's the walkthrough ^_^ I've broken it up into 2 sections. I humbly bow down to your stupendous understating of style in Japanese dating sims. Now you just need to do a guide for the third game, that added that annoying 'natural' style that is god damn everywhere. Hop to it, and make an LP of it as you go along!

Here's my guide on how to dress in Tokimemo: 1) Maybe don't carry around that porn mag you picked up off the street because it'll make the girls think you're gross. 2) The rest doesn't really matter. Wear pants if you feel like it. 3) There is no third rule. Man, that was easy! Here, I'll even throw in a guide to Tokimemo Valentine's gratis and for nothing: 1) Don't do jack all. 2) Get chocolate. 3) AWWWW YEAAAAHHH

Haha I'm still waiting on Phoenix to finish translating TMGS3 before I try to do anything with it. I'm still bewbz-deep in translating the Persona Phantom of the Opera game lol. If you guys are REALLY nice, maybe I'll go through and add pics to the guide. Or would that be too distracting? I added a second section that organizes the clothing by style, too, in case you're looking for a specific style and find it easier to search that way :3
This is fantastic. I've been buying all my clothes from the stores that pretty much only sell one style. It'll be nice to be able to buy some stuff on discount and not have to make a million trips. I completely don't understand when and where I'm supposed to be purchasing my special event clothing. I'm playing it for the second time, and I've finally managed to find a sexy and a pure gown.
I think on 12/23 some stores have store-wide discounts. I usually spend enough beforehand to get the 50% discount card, use that to buy the furisode, and buy the store's discount dress. In TMGS3 you can use the discount card for your total purchase (in PSP, not sure about DS). ...You would think that would mean you have Rich pouring out your ears, but no. Not since they added new styles, mixing styles, whatever the hell is up with the accessories (where are the sexy accessories?!!?), fashion levels... (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ
Just do what I do: Ignore the accessories! This is a terrible idea and no one should follow my example. Spare yourselves.
No way, the accessories are the trick if you're lazy and only buy one outfit. You get one outfit and one accessory, so that you can spend the next 50 dates taking your hairclip on and off and still get complimented on the outfit.
