I have this game on my wishlist because it looks interesting. Your post does nothing to explain it, though. Why is it formatted all weird and why does it read like you're a spambot? I know you're not one because you have plenty of posts. GO HOME JAMES BIRDSONG YOU ARE DRUNK.
Ah. Fair enough request. I shall explain the game: Little Inferno has first person perspective. It is a click and point game. The plot is explained as you play. Slowly revealed. But the gist is Little Inferno in game is a fun thing for kids. Spoiler but world outside your house, outside every house, is really cold and so everybody is encouraged to burn everything in fireplace to keep warm. Toys, furniture, everything. Sometimes your character gets letters from weather man. Sometimes your character gets letters from your neighbor. The world outside your home is not doing so good. Well surely this mystery is slowly revealed and weather man says each day is colder than the last.
This game looks really interesting. The point is to make combos which earn you better objects that you can use to make more combos.
If I understand the context of your question as it pertains to this thread then no. There is no dice rolling in the game Little Inferno. No stats to speak of.
When you post, do you imagine that you are posting in the voice of some character, maybe the girl in your avatar?
Occasionally. But sometimes, like in first post of this thread I post what I feel at time which in that case my inner voice of cynicism at humanity.
Well I opened thread in genuine appeal to everyone to talk about the game. It got derailed by some other topic. The thread can be deleted.
It’s your birthday. Someone gives you a calfskin wallet. How do you react? The game really does look interesting and I'll grab it next time it's on sale. But come on.
could you maybe not spoil any possible existence of multiple ending and how to get them IN THE FIRST POST OF THE FUCKING THREAD? Thank you kindly. EDIT: Thanks James Birdsong!
I played for an hour or so tonight. I'll do my best not to spoil anything. The setting is the same kind of cute-but-actually-dark thing that World of Goo had going on. As far as I can tell it's essentially an adventure game with a single core puzzle mechanic. I'm intrigued enough to want to keep playing, for whatever that might be worth. It's fun to burn stuff and see what happens, that's as true here as it is in real life.
So this is by the same people who did World of Goo, huh? The teaser trailer sort of reminds me of Dr. Suess (except darker and quirkier).
I was tempted to get it during the sale, but I've been told its 2-3 hours long. So I am still holding out. I loved world of goo, but I really don't get what this game is about. Burn stuff and advance the story?
Burn stuff and, if you want, try to figure out what stuff to burn together to get combos. I'm trying to get all the available combos before I move on, so I'm at over 7 hours in and about 80% of the way through, for whatever that's worth.
As a side note, I should mention that the fire effects are really good, though I suppose that's to be expected if that's the primary mechanic of your game.
So I have 2 combos left to figure out. And they are just not letting me figure them out. THIS GAME IS HARD
