How exactly does Strong Willpower work? Do you just set, at the beginning of a night phase / the game, the identity you wish to project? Are you informed when someone scries on you?

Ok, I made/GIS up some avatars. Feel free to make your own of course but if you don't have the time, inclination or mad filter abuse skills then also feel free to choose one of these. I made an effort to give them all the same totally-futuristic colour tint this time around. For some reason. The original arts are shamelessly ripped from GIS and not made by me but all tasteful cropping and resizing is my own work:

On avatars and roleplaying:
The idea for this is that you're drawn from the most powerful people in this world. Megacorp CEOs, politicians, royalty, generals, revolutionaries, celebrities. Any character you can imagine as having power in society could be a part of this. Also feel free to invent anything about the world you like - what society is like outside the monastery is up to you guys.

I went trawling through deviantart for character portraits yesterday. Once I found one I liked, I just kept hitting "more like this". I hadn't realised until now quite how many I'd done.

Some of them might be particularly good for showing what colour school you're in, so I've added some provisional school allocations to the first post.

Same school as Anabanana and Ozzo? This can only end well.

I know I brought it up before, but can we discuss the whole issue of the League being a horrible subforum for holding forum games like this again? It's hard to get a diverse range of participants when you're in a subforum that only a relatively small segment of the forum population visits on a regular basis. I mean, the most recent two mafia games have had practically exactly the same participants. :/

That said, will the IC thread be in the League, or in here?

I agree. I think the folder might be ok as an archive once they're done, but these games ought to be done in public somewhere so people can stumble across them. There's never so many active threads for them that they get in the way of those that don't take an interest in them, and having a dedicated subforum hasn't increased their number/activity like the Dark Souls subforum did.

If I can be allowed, I'll be putting the in-character thread here in January.

I like roBurky's idea of having active games in January or other more active subforums, then archiving them in the League once they're done. Seems to have worked well with Aaron's and Ozzo's games.
