Oh, I should mention, the rules post has been tweaked recently, with a few trait descriptions changed, and some more traits made public.

If people use different names for the IC thread, could they put them in the location box or something? The name thing was kinda confusing the last time.

It would be nice to maybe have a RP name and then your screen name be your nickname? It will be hard enough to keep 25 names straight let alone having random pseudonyms.

Now that the game is starting I was reading through the rules again, and I have a question about how private meetings are supposed to work. If two people are in the same school private meetings are easy but rarely necessary, on the other hand for two people from different schools to have a private meeting they have to post about it in the game thread since they can't normally communicate otherwise, is that right?

This is correct.

That's how I'm reading it. Looks like some abilities only activate in a private meeting (like protecting folks) so you can easily arrange that privately in your circle and PM roBurky. But if you want to do something cross-circle, you'll have to somehow get your meeting partner to ALSO send a PM to roBurky.

A reminder: not all traits in the game are in the rules list, and not all traits in the rules list are in the game.
The ones in the rules thread are like a sample, to show the kinds of interactions that traits can have.

I like that imagery of the broken man trying to keep on fighting and sacrificing more and more of his identity in the process. To spice it up I thought I'd throw it together with the Red Baron for good measure, as that seemed to fit nicely with the character image that roBurky had found!

Sorry. That was what I'd said in my first post. I realised there might need to be added time on the first turn for introductions, so I thought it best to start as soon as possible so people could make a start on that.

roBurky - regarding circles: are the results revealed to all who participated, or only to the leader?

The results are revealed to everyone who took part in the circle.

Another clarification:
A circle has a max of 5 participants. If more than 4 people claim to be following in the public thread, the leader should specify in their PM who they are going to accept into their circle. Otherwise I'll just count the people who posted first.
