Clearly that's just a Nemmy ornament for I have read in fragments from the oldest surviving tomes that the real emperor turtle sits deep underground in a vast cavern atop a throne of gear encrusted skulls. Long he has slumbered but, while he sleeps, the cult that has fostered around him now has it's claws in many of societies great institutions. I fear them, for when that great creature emerges from his shell at last - the whole world will tremble.

Though, I could have my modifiers backward again. Nemoric script is so difficult to translate.

As a side note, I have in my D&D Greyhawk campaign a tribe of troglodytes that worships a warforged dire tortoise named Nemoricus.

Does Nemoricus know about all this mythology we are forming in his name?

Fucking robomaids. <3 Well, technically some of us aren't fully synthetic, but our company is proud to have a non-discriminatory policy that accepts all individuals, whatever their degree of (post-)humanity, as long as they have a burning desire to serve and clean and cook for the sekai*. Okay, so maybe we have to program some of that desire into some of our less-stellar candidates, but I don't see our clients complaining about the results.

*Translation note: Sekai means world.

Thinking about it, I think I would appreciate an invite to the main school-wide private chats, particularly if there's any strategy being discussed. I can make sure nobody's working under any misconceptions on how the rules work. Knowing what strategies people are considering as a result of the information I've given them will also be useful feedback.

The sidebar on the conversation view has an 'invite more' button, although it may be that only the conversation-starter has the permissions.

That depends if the starter ticks "Allow others to invite people" when they start the conversation though.

I haven't spoken to the person whose username was Nemoricus in several years; we just sort of dropped out of touch.

We're through the first day now of this unusually long first turn. You should start thinking about deciding on and submitting night actions.

Circle leading and following goes into the public thread in bold.
Circle leader's spell and target, circle faking, private meetings, and other night actions go in a private message to me, preferably in reply to your initial briefing pm.

You can change your actions up until the end of the turn, so it doesn't hurt to get a provisional action submitted in case you're not available later.

So the night phase is over at 9:00 PM tomorrow?

The plan is to end the turn at 8pm EST / 1am GMT.

I'm going to be try to be quite strict about turn ends now. The only other time I'll be extending them is at weekends, if necessary, when lots of people can become less active.

I think this was a standing offer in the last game, although I don't know if it got used. But if you're ever going to be offline for a stretch of time, and aren't sure if you'll get to log on again before a deadline, you can leave conditional orders. Like "I'll vote with Soli-chan" or "I'll join whatever circle Cormac thinks I should join" or "I'll scry Ozzo, unless someone else says they're going to scry Ozzo, in which case I'll scry Nebty".

I took the "Cool" skill in fourth grade. Shoulda went with sword fighting.

Honestly! I have no idea where Quackers is going but I am gamely going to follow after with some minor fascination and feeling bad for being bad. And Bladida Agent with the Likes ohohohoho and playing again with Demon G Sides and Equis (both of which are very suavely wobbling) and Cormac with the Baron and the MEIDO thing and MR. LAWRENCE, Phoenicity's channel hmmmhmm~ and Neopythia's world (DO WANT MOAR OF) and that's a very thick accent, could cut it for bread perChance, and poor poor Ann-sama, but aye raising a toast the glory of Nebty High Priestess, and Q-Unit and all the "this one" style and mwohoho can we PLEASE GET Fontaine and Quackers talking? just once, please? *is evil* Kohei's pretty slick over there and really trying not to do madlibs courtesy of Bloo for Nute's character and can I just say the late post by the teddybear is super squishable even despite not getting the reference? Yes. So uh....that kind of was a mess of words.

That's right. A post in the public thread about being part of a circle, and no PM about it will be taken as genuine casting.
But if you want to pm me anyway to be sure, that's cool. I can confirm for you that there is nothing preventing you from casting, and stuff like that. Otherwise, I probably won't be checking if moves are legal until the end of the turn.
