The best part is the reactions. Some believe that Mameshiba can actually cause accidental death with their random trivia.

Probably from choking on your own vomit once you realize that they're sentient.

I spent hours trying to win the slots machine thing on the official website and failed miserably until one of my friends finally pointed out that the slots all turn at the exact same speed.
I am kind of dense, yes.

I think it's the guy's reaction that bothers me the most.

Oh, definitely. I like the shadowed-line effect on the trivia recipients in the early episodes. Emotionally you go from "AWW SO CUTE" to "holy shit did that bean-puppy just kill that dude?"

These are the best. I always showed these to my friends. Apparently some of them aren't completely true ('tiramasu', anyone?). Also, the official website says that jellybean (the one in the English commercial who can barely speak English) can't speak Japanese well. Hmm.

I apparently was obsessed enough for two different people to give me plushies of the Edamame beans. I love them so. Sadly, they don't spout one-a-day trivia.

I love knowledge and cute things, so any "that's kind of creepy" is completely drowned out by "I WANT TO TAKE IT HOME." Speaking of which, there's a Mameshiba game for the 3DS in Japan, so if you wanted to, you could adopt a sentient green bean with dog ears and stick a tiny rabbit headband on it. Yes.

The creepy weirdness totally adds to it, IMO. I wouldn't enjoy these half as much if they didn't have bizarre, totally inexplicable undertones

This is amazing.

Now I must slowly back away in order to avoid searching and watching these for the next several hours.

I don't need that extra kidney. A Japanese 3DS is much better.
