This particular point will actually make me sad if Puerto Rico does eventually become a U.S. state. Because I presume they wouldn't have an entry in Miss Universe anymore, and the US is usually rather lackluster with their own entry. Sadface.

Angie Gallant, I must confess that when I first saw this thread my reaction was "what kind of stupid nonsense . . .?" I was so wrong. This thread brings the Awesome down from Olympus, and has brought tears to my eyes for two days. Of course, now I have to go back and check out the prior years' parade of delight.

You have a knack for spotting pop culture that cries out to be skewered like it was your job. Thank you and please share more.

Tom and Lorenzo (the guys with the site and commentary) are great! They do a similar skewering of any big red carpet event like the Academy Awards or similar, and from what I remember got their start doing commentary on Project Runway and the fashions there. Always great to read them.

I really like Tom and Lorenzo because while they critique fashion and make catty-as-fuck comments about styling choices, they make it about fashion and styling choices and not about bodies. They definitely make red-carpet season (WHICH I LOVE) way more fun.
