Since Mary's been nice enough to give me this pair of goggles, I can use them to visit the desert. This is great news, since the Fuen town gym's been mysteriously burnt down by someone (despite being heat-proof) and I'm not in the mood to be needlessly questioned by the cops.

Well, I don't really know anyone, but I think there's one or two others from the team. I dunno, I've been watching the fights, there's some really good competitors here, in lots of different styles: kickboxing, boxing, mui thai, sword fighting, they've got everything. But the really good stuff is in the mixed martial arts tag team competition.

Always go for the mage! Because I have a bad feeling with the miko oneMages seem handy with all their spellcraft and whatnot :D

Here's an update specifically to celebrate this fact and totally not because there is a MASSIVE (exaggerated, almost certainly harmless) spider lurking somewhere in my room that I am certain is going to sneak up on me when I least expect it


This should be good enough for grinding. I'm not really planning to fight anyway; I just want to finally have a heart-to-heart chat with my dad. Ask him how he... how he handles losing close friends, y'know?


... Of course, first we'll need to deal with the trainers blocking the way.


The team's more than enough to handle them, so it should be alright.

I got my entire team to level 100 yesterday. I still haven't beaten the game. That is how bad Java is.

I think you would have been fine in the One-Hit KO room since you're higher level. Or do OHKO moves work on higher level opponents in this game?

((I later got curious, so I reloaded the save after getting the Balance badge and the 'mon in the room was a Flandre. I don't know whether or not she even had an actual one-hit KO move, but she managed to take down three of my Bonéka before I managed to beat her. Flandres are scary. ;A;))

Yeah, Norman is kind of a dick, isn't he? And actually, if you think about it, isn't it weird that the gym where he works is two towns over from where he ostensibly lives? If they were gonna go through the trouble of moving to Hoenn anyways, wouldn't it have made more sense to move into the city where Norman works (and practically lives, if we're being perfectly honest)?
