I got this game a few days ago (and completed all the routes a few days ago >.>) and I have to say, I think Wilfred and Kieth were my favorites.

I can't wait to see you play Joshua's route! I can't remember much (Even though I just played it recently. Doy...) but I think he turns out to be pretty cute! *u*

Yes we can have mushroom sauces with pastas or meats ( but I won't call them gravy, if I refer to the recipes I've found gravy is made from meat juice and onions. But maybe elsewere in France, I mostly know south french cuisine and we usually don't make thick sauces, it's more or less mediterannean cooking, similar to what you could find in Italy , Greece, etc...olive oil, lemon juice, vegetables... and that does explain the garlic addiction too :) )

Gravy is considered stock + ingredients cooked down over here. So, going back to my earlier example, you could make mushroom gravy without any meat. The definition might be different in other countries or even other areas.

NGL, I was having flashbacks of when I was younger (... OK, EVEN AT THE SAME AGE I AM AT NOW) where my mom, even if I didn't like it, was just PROUD that I tried a new thing, because I know that sort of mindset where it's just like *BRACES SELF I KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE BAD :C* He's probably nervous because he thinks it's not going to be good, but because he's Joshua, covers it in Tsun. In fact, I think that there was him admiting that it wasn't as bad as he thought they were going to be. Almost a sort of relief, really.

I love that Josh's inability to handle cats is such a defining character trait that they include it in the GREE version and this version. (◡‿◕✿)

I've played Joshua's GREE Christmas event, and can include some caps here if it wouldn't be too much of a derail. For example, when Jan happens to walk in on Protag-chan and Joshua-- well, let the reaction speak for itself:

Randissimo, I am disappoint! I finally had to come to the library and catch up on this thread 'cause it don't load so good at my house. (Diaaal uuup.) And I was reading and all, yes! Feel free to post the GREE Christmas screens, I only ask that you put them in spoiler tags. Also, looks like I have to edit the character profiles. I'm not sure where Wilfred is supposed to be from now, though. England? Switzerland? Denmark? Sweden? Belgium? The only clue I have is that his castle is called a Chateau, but that could be the translators screwing up.

I'm pretty sure Phillip country is Not-England, what with all the emphasis on manners and tea.

A maid wakes Amaya up the morning of the party. She's there to assist her with getting ready.



And we flashback to the moment last night when Amaya dropped the documents Joshua gave her.



Joshua picks up the papers for her and hands them to her again.

Amaya: "Oh, no... Thank you."

Joshua: "This way you won't need to have any reservations about leaving here."

Amaya: (Reservations...?)

Yeah, I don't know either.

Amaya: "Okay..."



Joshua: "What is it? Are you displeased with how long it took? Because that was as fast as..."

Amaya: "No, I was just thinking you must have pulled a lot of strings for me... Was this the reason you didn't come straight out to the courtyard with us...?"



Joshua: "Well, yeah... I-I know you don't really want to see me any more... So if you could wait just one more day."

I'm proud of Josh for actually showing some self-awareness here. He knows he's been an ass, and he expects her to hate him.

Amaya: (I won't see him any more...)

Unfortunately for our awkward hedgehog (thanks Sugar-Junkie), he's reading the situation completely wrong.



Amaya: (What's wrong with me? I have wanted to be out of here as soon as possible, but now...)



Back in the present and away from the suddenly woobie Joshua, the maids present Amaya with her dress for the party.



She's absolutely captivated by it. The maids help her dress, and then they sit her in a chair to do her hair and make-up. Amaya feels like a princess, just like when Edward arranged for her to go to the party at Nobel Michel.

The maids leave, saying Jan will be there shortly. Soon after, she hears a knock on the door, and tells the person to come in, thinking it's Jan.

It's actually Roberto and Wilfred.



Roberto: "Hey, you look really good. So he does have good taste after all. Don't you think so, Wilfred?"

Wilfred: "Yeah."

Amaya is confused.

Amaya: "Who do you mean...?"

Roberto laughs.

Roberto: "Josh of course. Apparently he picked out that dress for you."

Whut.

Wilfred: "The cut and color suit you very well."

Roberto: "Josh always seemed to dislike anything like that though..."



Amaya: (He took the time to choose my dress, even though he doesn't like to...?)



Jan finally shows up.

Jan: "Oh, I see Your Highnesses are here as well."



And with that, Roberto kisses the back of Amaya's hand.

Down boy! It's not your route!



Jan doesn't seem to find anything odd about Roberto's behavior, and asks everyone what they want to do with the time until the party starts. He offers to bring them something to eat to their rooms if they want. They take him up on the offer.

As Jan is leaving, Amaya asks him where Joshua is.



Roberto: "He got angry at us earlier, saying that he's now behind in his work because of us."

Amaya: (Oh... He's working...)

Jan: "I apologize for my master's rudeness..."

Roberto: "It's all right, I'm used to it. And we did turn up unexpectedly."

Jan: "Thank you Your Highness. Amaya, please wait here and I shall bring you something to eat shortly."



Amaya: (Seeing as Prince Joshua went to all that trouble to pick the dress out for me... I would have liked to show him how it looks...)

We refuse to wait! We are going to thank that idiot and watch him splutter and hopefully he will blush more and stuff!

So yeah. B.

just one thing that made me laugh a lot for the moment: chapter 2 of Glenn Christmas eve

Hey, I just realize how Roberto is pretty much all over this route. Is it just here, or is it like this in every route. Like, even when it's both Wilfred and Roberto, it's almost like Wilfred doesn't exist, though it could be because he's kind of Kuudere-ish so he doesn't call as much attention to himself.

He's always kind of flirty whenever you meet him. He's not this...prominant in other routes. I think it's mainly a marketing strategy by Voltage; you buy one prince's route, and one or two of the other princes will have a fairly large involvement in it, hopefully getting you to buy their routes, and then you'll see a bit of some of the other princes, and hopefully want to buy their routes, and so on and so forth.

GO TO HIS ROOM. Obviously his "argh ya'll messing up mai werk" means "come to me Amayaaaaa" in tsundere speak. Huehuehue. And if it doesn't...IT DOES.

Amaya: (I noticed it yesterday when we held the kittens, but he has a really nice smile...)

Amaya, focus! You can drool over Wilfred when you're actually on his route.

Amaya: (I wonder if Prince Joshua is actually a kind person like Prince Wilfred... That would explain the dress...)

Wilfred: "He must have it bad if he is able to pick out such a perfect dress for you."

Amaya: (What...)

Amaya: "What do you mean...?"

Wilfred starts to walk away. Amaya is still utterly confused.

Wilfred: "Perhaps it was not my place to say anything... But think of it as a thank you for the beautiful visage you have shown me."

Amaya: (Did he just say I look beautiful...?)

No, He was talking about the dress. /sarcasm

Wilfred: "I was made to come here, and felt reluctant to join in... But yesterday with the kittens, and after seeing you today..."



Wilfred: "...It hasn't been too bad a visit after all."

Wilfred leaves, and Amaya continues to Joshua's office.


And he's soooo happy to see her, too!

Lookit that face!


Then he gets a good look at her and smiles.



Amaya: "Yes. Thank you very much for the dress."

She bows her head, and Josh seems amused.

Joshua: "Hm. I see fine feathers do indeed make fine birds."

Oh, Josh. Every time I start to think you might be doing well...



Amaya: "But..."



Joshua: "I had meant it as a compliment?"

I guess I can kind of understand his gaffe. I doubt complimenting people is something he has much practice at. Still...
