Meh, It's not like I would know. I'm too busy being a geek to think about politics.

Santorum's got a reputation everywhere, because its sole purpose was shitflinging, as opposed to actual debate in D&D. This is not even a joke or an exaggeration, that is literally the reason Sanctum Santorum exists.

Though to be fair, Santorum isn't that bad since the MRA's were either banned or simply left. I hardly see the difference between D&D and Santorum anymore to be honest. Except when someone is being a total dickface, then everybody checks if it's in Santorum and starts yelling profanity. Those are my favourite parts.

Yeah, I lurk Santorum sometimes and there are some really nice, productive, fun conversations going on in there. In fact, those probably make up the majority of the threads I've seen in it. I almost feel like D&D's become the place for the more heavy analytical stuff, but I don't lurk there as often so I wouldn't know.

Yeah, the boring stuff :P.

Sometimes things that involve feminism and whatnot are posted there as well, if someone might not feel comfortable leaving it open for shitflinging, but there are plenty of feminism threads in Sanctum, and they don't get shit on. And honestly when I saw the marriage-equality thing about France being posted in there I had my fears, but it turned out fine. The Sanctum is a little more prone to "wtf Republicans" but I'm not shedding any tears about that.

I saw so much fail in the countries, that my brain felt disheartened in humanity. On the plus side, I learned things about animals that I don't think I ever would've known otherwise.

Well, it's not exactly something they'd want to teach in schools.

Because, shock, that would imply nature isn't how we want it to be! Gasp!

Our imposing order on a naturally disorderly environment would mean our sense of morality and righteousness is solely a human feature and, in the grand scheme of things, completely arbitrary and pointless! It would mean realizing we're not that important since other species don't comply with our observations of them!

THIS CANNOT STAND.

In all honesty, though, I'm glad for Santorum, it serves its purpose and the good threads there are great for discussion and bitching about the stupid things people do.
