Can somebody help clarify the difference between nukige and nakige? From context I'm guessing that "nukige" refers to porn games and "nakige" refers to games whose purpose is to make you cry.
Correct! Nukige are porn games, but have a different connotation from H-games, I think. H-game refers to any game with sexual content, but nukige totally revolve around the porn. Katawa Shoujo, for example, is an H-game but not a nukige. And nakige are like utsuge in that their purpose is to make the player cry, like you said, but the VN database says that while utsuge are generally hopelessly depressing, nakige are emotional but might have happy endings. I love learning new words!
