Regardless of the word "by" or not you implied that Glenn is better than Gary when, in fact, they are both shitty, shitty people with shitty, shitty art and shitty, shitty opinions. As if there were more than one reaction expected to a cartoon by the last name McCoy ("You're just making fun of the last name, right?")
Regardless of the first name, the last name "McCoy" carries the same meaning and being surprised something not hateful, xenophobic, racist, misogynist, or worse was produced by either is perfectly normal.

Because he was using water to cease the fires, lots of water and lots of buckets and lots of fires so there is some residual water pooling at his feet.
I don't get the "small pox" thing.

The smudges on his face look more like a comic version of some form of pox or plague to me. *shrug*

I think this astoundingly banal and specious argument could have been better represented if the kid grew up across the panels. Having what looks like a 5 year old shooting people lacks plausibility... much like the point being made. Hmm. Actually, carry on hack cartoonist, you're doing fine.

Yeah guy, one thing about elementary schoolers is that they love reading the newspaper with their chocolate frosted sugar bombs.

I saw that not as a newspaper, but as that nefarious tool of the devil: comic books.

In the first panel it's a newspaper. The second panel it's the nightly news. The third panel it's a documentary about Rwanda. The fourth panel is CNN.com. And the fifth panel is an NPR report on bombings in Gaza. Hearing about the realities of the modern world has rendered our hero a nihilist so by the final panel he decides to kill all people and release them from the pain of this miserable life. A good comic?
