I had to look up "hypergamous." While the concept itself is certainly a thing that some individuals do, "did you know that women are hypergamous?" is pretty much the same thing as saying, literally, "did you know that women are gold-digging bitches?" I suspect that the page she's reading on her iPad in that comic is daybydaycartoon.com.

Pretty much. I read that bit and went "are you implying all women are gold digging, or are you about to mention that guys do that as well, and it's just douche behavior?"

Then I remembered it was Day by Day and settled in for the MRA rant that followed.

This is so fucking brilliantly subtle. I actually love it.

Usually I have mixed feelings when someone posts a bunch of cartoons in a single post. But I like every single one of these. In particular, the one by Tom Tomorrow just says everything I have to say, much better than I could say it myself. The fact that it's three massacres old (at least) just makes it all the sadder.

Not like a slam on you or anything but I think the thread moves slow enough that you can always come back later. I mean it's only 18 pages, it can be reread in minutes so, when I post a bunch of cartoons, maybe you can just look them over real quick, pick out the ones you like (or hate) and read the rest later.
