It actually isn't. I tried both and neither came up with a similar image. Now that I have clicked through hyperlinks leading to IMDB pages (which is where I found the image he and now Otterloop is referring to) it's now literally like the only image that was shows up.

Listen: I'm not trying to be a dick here, but you posted a screencap of your image search and it is among the results.

I zoomed out to take that screencap, Google automatically loads new images when you do that. I probably shouldn't have and instead made an animated gif because then I would have seen the few pixels of the revolver's grip on the second page of Google results and stopped.

EDIT: As an aside, I remember that Simpsons episode, but I had no clue at the time that it was a holler out to Patton.

I'm not sure why you're so focused on the revolver anyway. I've never seen Petraeus wear a sash and carry a riding crop in real life either. Also, what point are you trying to make here? If it isn't an especially profound one could you just stop making us all defend Michael Ramirez of all people?

You know I have access to a shit ton of Chuck Asay comics right? I'll make your nose bleed for days.

I get Hanzii's point, Otterloop. There are aspects to his drawing which suck, but it's not all bad. He can do a decent picture. Pity the content is beyond atrocious.

The blood will be hemorrhaging out your brain, though.

I have to give Ramirez credit as well in that even though he repeats themes ad nauseum, he at least re-draws the stuff most of the time. So for instance, in all of those car-over-the-debt-cliff pieces, he didn't just re-use the same car over and over again, or in the Hollywood Squares looking head showcases, he drew five or six heads for each person and gave it some visual variety rather than one head each over and over.

Meanwhile in day-by-day every woman is doing the same right-leg-yoga-lift or the hand-on-hip-uppity-female-sass pose. Or Mallard Fillmore where 95.4% of the panels involve the same face shots of the duck (and a 50/50 coin flip determines if he is holding up a newspaper). Or Gorrell who literally cuts-and-pastes the same Obama shot in every. single. time. In one of these threads someone posted like a half dozen from the same guy over and over again and they were basically the same but with different labels or thought bubbles.

So yeah, credit to Ramirez for that at least.

EDIT: By the way, I'm still not really seeing the RAMIEREZ'S ART IS 100% FUCKING HORRIBLE the way you can see it with Day by Day. The Delaware crossing comic, for example, while stupid ... the art is fine (except for Obama). Same for most of the other ones. Really the only thing about his art that makes me go "wtf?!" are some of his caricatures. Specifically Obama, but you could say that about 99% of the Obama ones that any of these people do. I think you just dislike his style (which is fine) but he does actually have one, and no matter how many shitty versions of Obama he draws, I do think he's an actual artist.

He can't WRITE worth a damn, as seen by his 4752385636 variations upon OMG DEBT, but he draws just fine. And he certainly doesn't copy/paste even his retarded repeats (all those cars going off cliffs are different cars going off different OMG DEBT cliffs!), so hey.
