Aww, don't be. If the diagnosis turns out to be what we think it is, the ultrasound was just the trigger that finally led to the condition coming to light. Most of the time, I understand they're perfectly harmless.

Plus, you probably have doctors who know you, because you've been in the area longer than three months, and therefore people will take any issues you have at a rather higher priority. So it'll all work out fine. <hugs!>

My mood is still the same now though, even with half the day today gone in sleeping.

I think I'll need to kick over into a different mode because this foggy ambivalence is never good for too long.

Ah but then I never do well with cultural references or that sort of "everybody generally is aware of this sort of thing" which is the primary sticking factor to which I will default responding to when not sure of what one is saying. I was not born to that foundation of history and forethought so I am aware of that lacking. A bit opposed to, "Srsly qurl, how does your mind work?" To which I've never really been able to find an adequate explanation. Sorry if that seems jumbled, I've tried writing it twice with breaks in between.

On an entirely different note, I am in a very introspective navel gazing Gene Wilder in the Wonka Tunnel Malkavian Mode state of mind. In deference to what I presume is what is generally accepted behavior I will warn thusly: Please do not engage. Whatever might be posted is sure to be garbled to the ninth degree since this is a special case when I get to feeling like this specifically. I've been like this for a week but the strength in intensity has increased to a frame where conversing is not a good option. I'll be puttering about the forums silently with minimal interacting bits to be safe.

If that one's not custom, a number of people are going to be awfully confused soon.

I like my boobs, I really do. I enjoy having a female form of some sorts. But sometimes I just want them to disappear. I like sleeping on my stomach (I know, I am a crazy person) and they're so much in the way I need to sleep on two pillows. And when they hurt (I don't know, one whole week every month or so?) it's so uncomfortable I can't sleep but I can't fall asleep on my back either. Stupid boobs.

Pretty much, yeah. I just can't seem to stop thinking. I've been lying here for three hours doing absolutely nothing and nothing is happening.

Yep. I gave up sleeping on my stomach after puberty.

I don't have boobs, and I can't sleep on my stomach.
I dunno why, I just cannot find a comfortable position with my body facing down into the bed.

Double pillows is just kind of the best thing you can do there. Luckily, once I fall asleep, I usually curl up into fetal position on either of my sides, but that falling asleep bit can be tough. :<

Why does no one ever bring up how amazing the soundtrack to the game Rule of Rose is?
It's full of amazing string and piano pieces that no one is willing to touch because it's a game about children being jerks. also a bunch of subtext that i don't want to get into here because that would turn into a grand debate on what constitutes child abuse and WHAT IS REALITY and etc.
