Well, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for cheap knockoffs instead of the legitimate article, you kind of waive the privilege of complaining when it's of lesser quality.

It's mostly the booze in it. The real cure for the cold is sleep 'til you're better, and booze helps bring the sleep. It's not an "active" ingredient but it's a significant one.

Sure, but you can spend $5 and get a fine HDMI cable. Why do you have to spend $20 to get a 30-pin to USB, or USB to AC that won't set your house on fire or fall apart in a week?

Because that's how it is. $20 is not an exorbitant price at all for a charger that, so long as you're not coiling it up and jamming it in your pocket, will last you pretty much indefinitely. If you can't afford that, you shouldn't be buying Apple products.

Dickens has parked himself in front of the heater vent. At least in this house the vents are in the baseboards instead of the floor - at the old house he'd sit his fat butt on the vent and block heat to the whole room.

Now that snow and ice are a permanent part of my landscape, I need to start watching out for two things.

1. Slipping on ice.
2. Slipping on ice in front of some doucebag with an iphone and a youtube account.

I saw Valentine's cards and such in a store today. I think we are getting close to UberHoliday, where all holidays will merge into one giant year-long sales event.

I shouldn't have had two pots of that "specialized" brew. Because that hot cocoa/chocolate apparently takes to m'veins like the solid kicks of a draft horse. Which is to say I spent yesterday hyper aware and babbling about boring observations and my experiments to my gaming friends. Preeetty sure my pulse went thump thump above as well, might have noted that down somewhere. But I see I wasn't the only one celebrating~! :D

3-5 different kinds that I was present for when it was being mixed. So yeah, no worries! because I'm not tripping. Not that I would know how that'd be like; I've only smoked lilac cigars.

Sometimes messages like that make me want to set up and start serenading support.
