Pah, if there is one thing you could rely on is that Jordon was townie. And you should have been certain about yourself. So what I am saying, is you should have used a D4.

I was using 1-2 = Gryff, 3-4 = Aaron, 5-6 = Jordan.

And I wasn't sure Jordan was a townie, because I thought Gertrude's typo might have been because she had him recorded as the target of a night kill and accidentally posted it.

D2s are much more dramatic

I had thought the same for a bit, but once Aaron called out Jordon as a Townie it must be so. As a monster it is a trust gaining move, and can be trusted because he knows who the monster is (Himself). And if he (Aaron) is a townie then it must be correct as there is no reason to lie.

Thanks! I was going for irony for the townies. When the monsters died I wanted the running gag for the townies to be covered in something. If Aaron had bit it he would have ended up sliming the remaining townies with ocean water and sea weed.

I think if I run another game I'll do something along the lines of soundlyParanoids Witch Soup NK so multiple people don't try to out their roles at the same time too.

This is actually why recruitment mechanics Suck heavily for town. It denies all the work someone's done for their side up until that point and it really screws with peoples reads up until that point.

Something that would have worked just as well is handing the monster team an extra kill, but then investigations happened.

The best thing you could have done was probably include actual vanillas though. All roled games tend to be horrible for the mafia factions, particularly open setup ones. Good game to the monsters though.

Oh shoot I completely missed the ending. Thanks for the game gertrude! It was totes fun, can't wait for the next one :D
