I'll probably just quit RP-ing altogether then, if the constant OOCing is bothering people, since my character and what I actually think might not dovetail completely. Mainly because we have access to information that our characters won't necessarily have, and I'd hate to muddy the discussion with characterization stuff.

Also, if this was an actual roleplay, my character would be out of that fucking building ASAP instead of hanging around to risk getting murdered, so there's that as well. xD

Jacquelle shakes her head. "Look, the way I see it, Gryff is our best option. It doesn't matter what your personal feelings toward him are: he's revealed he has an unimportant role. That means that if we kill anyone else, even one of the people asleep in their beds, we risk killing someone important to us. What if they're a monster hunter, or a doctor? Do you want to risk killing our more important allies?"

"And if he's lying, then... well, we've done what we wanted to, haven't we? Killed a monster, one down, two to go. And I don't see why he would lie about having a small role if he was in fact important; there's no way he couldn't have known that lie would lead to him possibly lynched, and why would he want his own side to lose that protection?"

"So I say we drop our dead weight... So to speak. And get rid of him without risking taking down one of our best allies."

Yeah, I don't know if RPing is working terribly well for this, and I might drop the quotes and actions; it means a lot of OOC moments and trying to decide whether you should vote for what your character would do and what you should actually do.

You would rather vote for a townie of little import than risk a chance at a monster? And you tried to lecture on how monsters would act!? If I could I would vote for you again!

Can gertrudetherobot clarify what's going on with the safes? Without a clear explanation of how they work (are we supposed to visit them like the titular ruins in AaronSofaer's Ruins of Light's Glory?), they're muddying up the point of the game.

Incorporating them as flavor text in announcements would be wonderful (each one revealed with every new day), but otherwise it's just bewildering.

Honestly now that the intro is over and you have the knife, the flavor RPing is really done. I explained that you guys shouldn't be looking for safety deposit boxes or anything.

At this point just stop the monsters/kill the townies.

I would rather vote for a townie of little import than risk killing someone who could be much more useless to us. And besides, you could still be a monster, lying in the hope we won't call your bluff. Well, I call it now, and if I could I would vote for you again!

Also, with the vote this decided we won't be lynching anyone tonight, which I think we can agree is the worst possible course of action for the humans. I'm just trying to get everyone to agree.

I did say that asking for volunteers is pointless, didn't I? Gryff volunteering clears his name for today, I think. I know I wouldn't volunteer to be stabbed by such a thing. Ghastly. Although, Harry's death was worse...(shudders) no matter.

Now, dear Jacquelle, I'm concerned, as those slips of the tongue imply that you're not quite thinking clearly. Which isn't a suprise with all the nastiness and the lack of sleep and all. Still, maybe you reveal too much?

Ryutaro leans against an unadorned section of a wall, crossing one foot before the other.

"It bothers me how hard you're pushing Gryff, though. He was just testing the water."

I'm not pushing for Gryff. Gryff means nothing to me. I am simply pushing for us all uniting our votes so that we may all decide who dies instead of leaving to an unknown judge. And if I'm already trying to convince people, why not toward the person I think is the best candidate, seeing as he has already offered himself?

Not that I've taken my eyes off of Jordan, either. What have you got to hide behind that peaceful exterior?

One thing I don't think I was clear about. With 13 players we need 7 to obtain a lynch vote. With the guarantee that the judge is alive if that vote doesn't go through it will go to them to figure out a lynch target or go no lynch.

"You are right about one thing, we've got to decide on someone. Judge won't know better than we do."

A corner of Ryutaro's mouth rises into a toothy smirk.

"Judges never get off your back anyway."

I am off to bed unfortunately, but in my opinion we have had quite a productive day. I am confident that Jacquelle is the correct choice, and if she does indeed turn out to be a monster then I believe we have a strong candidate for tomorrow's lynching. There should be some good candidates for our powers to start on as well.

Pushing himself from the wall, Ryutaro briskly exits back out of the cramped room.

I see your point, but voting for a new person this late in the game is just going to divide the vote further. I doubt 6 people are going to switch their votes in the next 2 1/2 hours. Unless you're *trying* to make the judge decide?
