Hi. I wasn't really sure where to put this, seeing as it's more of a question than a topic. But hopefully, it'll be fine. So here's the thing. Despite not really knowing much Japanese, I tend to buy some games I find interesting in Japanese anyway. Being a fan of Quinrose I currently own the majority of their released games. I'm also interested in hacking/programming, so I occasionally try to extract information from games for fun. Now, most companies use the same sort of decryption for the majority of their games. And as it turns out, getting the scripts and images from Quinrose's games for the psp is surprisingly easy. As this is a forum where a lot of people are interested in otome games, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me uploading the dialouge/text-parts of the scripts I find. This will enable you to copy the dialogue into a translator/text hooker, like the Translation Aggregator, while you play the game. I suppose I would also be able to send you a sprite/cg-pack, should you want it. So, would anyone be interested in the scripts? (If this is considered to be breaking any rules, let me know and I will remove the topic immediately. I've looked around on a bit online, but I can't really find anything about the legality of game-scripts, and GameFaq has quite a few scripts, so I'm really not sure where this stands.)

The text you're looking for are between the "message" tags. Some games have a lot of scripts, but you always start with the files named op. After that, just follow where the code tells you to go. When it comes to a choice in the game, different games treat this differently. Some scripts will tell you the choices, others will simply reference an image. In case of the latter, the first image is always the one on the left. So if you pick the left option, you pick the first option in the script. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. I'm working on cleaning up the scripts and making them easier to read, but it takes quite a while. I will replace the links with the cleaned-up scripts as soon as they're ready.
Oh no, chibis are one of my many weaknesses. I'll have to restrain myself from downloading them all. Bandwidth caps are the devil I tell you, the deeevvvillll. Thanks for posting these, Alice! I know it must have been time-consuming, so I appreciate it a lot.
