Nah, it usually just lasts a week or so, haha. And we just got out of one, so there shouldn't be another one for a while yet. Personally, I really don't recommend TvTroping this until you're done with the whole story - you'll lose a lot of the impact that way.

Ahahaha, you finished the first chapter? Pretty easy so far, right? It's still the tutorial chapter after all; even I figured out who the culprit was with that blindingly obvious clue, haha.

It was so obvious it actually threw me off a bit. When a similar thing happens in a crime novel it's always one big red herring or a frame job. At least no one's Russian to my knowledge so there shall be no fun with monograms on evidence.

Probably they were trying to ease players into the mechanics and stuff? The solving part is pretty easy, but the little minigames where you have to shoot the weak spots in testimony and stuff like that probably take a little getting used to; we just don't have that kind of experience since we're just reading the LP.

And OMFG Ishimaru is my favourite character too! He's just so adorably earnest and over-the-top. I love him so much <3

He is! That earnestness and the fact he's the only one following whatever crazy instruction they get. I just want to plink his adorably large eyebrows. Just got on Chapter 2 now!

I haven't posted anything in this thread yet as I already know the plot of both DR1 and DR2, and I really want to avoid spoiling anyone.
But I just wanted to say that it's really interesting to read everyone's opinions on things.
