Alright, here's some the fanart that I thought were pretty good. I'm providing the IDs they have on pixiv, but beware of spoilers looking these up. Some of these pics come from sets of images also containing Dangan Ronpa 2 characters, which would've probably spoiled me if I had paid better attention and understood Japanese. I'm bolding the IDs of images that are parts of sets for this reason.

Here's another question: Would Naegi be considered a shota?

What defines a shota? If it's being younger than the others, he doesn't count. If it's behaving younger than the others, he doesn't count. He also doesn't look that much younger, either.

I really have no idea what people are defining shota as nowadays. I've always thought it just meant, you know, a little boy, like 12 or younger, but apparently now it also applies to young-looking teenagers or older guys too? Eh. He's a high school student, I wouldn't consider him shota. He does look pretty short and young though, so.

I would say no. Generally, shotas have a noticeably more youthful appearance; Naegi just looks like an ordinary teenager to me. Shotas also tend to act younger or in a cutesy manner, from what I've seen. They're generally 10 years old or younger (sometimes ~12/13/14, but rarely (if ever) older than that). There are exceptions to the age thing (like Honey from Ouran High School Host Club), but I think they're pretty rare.
Disclaimer: I am not a shota expert. (Not that I would ever want to be considered one...)

To be honest, I got confused as to what the term meant when people in the Pirates in Love thread started calling Thomas a shota, so...*shrugs*

Imagine my confusion when I had no idea what Moe meant when I came here and it came up in connection with Merrill of DA2. I assumed it meant 'ditz' with my usual infer-from-context-method until Zafehouse: Diaries where it ended up being applied to the fine gentleman in my avatar.

Then I had to look it up.

I was like "man, I think Gundam's adorable, but that's a little too much", and then I looked at the avatar again and REALIZED IT WAS A GIF HOLY CARESS /brainsplodes from the cute

Actually, speaking of spoilers, there was a link posted in the DR2 SA thread. It's for a Japanese online store; some people said there were no spoilers for DR2 on the site. That's mostly true, but if you do decide to check out the store, beware of the art book*. I'm pretty sure it almost spoiled something for me. (I say "almost" because I somehow managed to completely forget whatever it was I saw, I didn't know what it really was when I saw it, and it also could have been something that didn't actually get used in the game.)

* I clicked on it because I thought it was a spoiler-free poster, oops.
