I've opted for a character from one of Jiří Trnka's stop motion films, part of which can be seen here. I adore stop motion.



Except festive, because nothing captures the spirit of the season like stabbing a Christmas tree with a turkey fork.

I for one thought it was a santa hat!

How are you guys putting santa hats on your avatar? I've no artistic skills, so is there an easy way?

You can always be lazy like I was and find an image that already has a santa hat.

A festivities checkbox to tick to have our avatars updated on every major holiday! A green filter for St Patrick's Day! A Flag background for the 4th of July, (even though I'm not even American), Pilgrim hats for Thanksgiving!

I thought everyone was automatically American* on the 4th of July, because it's the BEST HOLIDAY EVER or something.

(*in name only; we can't be handing out citizenship all willy-nilly of course)
