The macroing of images thread

They are exactly the same thing, at least in Massachusetts. We have tons and tons of rotaries. I go through two to get to work every day. One is very large, one is very small. Both require that you slow down to go into them, although if no one is coming, no one bothers slowing down. Cause it's Massachusetts.

I dunno - without at least some of the text, those of us less versed in comics might think Spidey is just being lazy rather than wracked with professional jealousy.

Not strictly a roundabout, but there are 17 groups of traffic lights at this junction. That's groups - god knows how many individual sets of r/a/g lights there are.

I think that that looks more complicated than it is (even more so when you're approaching it in a car, presumably, rather than looking at it top-down on an internet forum). Maybe I'm missing something but it seems to me that you could just stay in the outside lane all the way around to whatever exit you want to take.

I'm not seeing any way for a driver to determine when they are allowed to turn. There are 3-4 lanes on the inner circle and 3-4 lanes on the outer circle, with no designations as to where lanes are allowed to go.

They're doing something similar here now, it's ridiculous, not to mention confusing until it dawns on you that the Christmas tree of 20 lights in front of you are all for the same three lanes. Someone's getting kickbacks from whichever company makes the lights surely.

Having been round it a few times, it's not actually as bad as it looks. The first time there's definitely an element of 'how the fuck do I get over there?' and it can be as busy as an abomination like that suggests it should be which can make life interesting when you inevitably find yourself in the wrong lane but it's not quite

You might consider something like the imgur plugin for your browser. Then you just right click on almost any image, and you have a reliably hotlinkeable graphic. If you get an imgur account, then you can create a stockpile of such things for a variety of occasions!

AFAIK, Quarter to Three is the original source for that image. Sparky made it. So yeah do what Lizard King suggests.

Yeah, I'm saying the article you linked is wrong. Cause I'm telling you, we have a ton of them, we just call everything from traffic circles to roundabouts rotaries. Seriously. As I said I go through two a day getting to and from work. If I went in a different direction I'd go through another tiny one. When I go to my dentist's office there's two more.

There is actually a law in Massachusetts that entering traffic does not have the right of way--traffic already in the rotary does. So. Your article is wrong!
