SPONTANEOUS GROWTH OF ADAM'S APPLE WILL DO THAT TO A BOY. At least that would account for the voice.
Dav-Darling, I love how you rationalize EVERYTHING AWAY.
It's been two thirds of the game in screenshots by now. I do have to find some way I can sleep at night!
That's not Cricket. It's alternate-universe young Ralph Dibny.
Sedrine, you find the greatest stuff.
Meanwhile, in Crazytown....
I feel like this is a reference to something, but I can't remember what. I chuckled though (poor Joyce, her dress must be glued/magicked into staying up).
Also, this DLC is just packed full of meta references and in-jokes. I seem to remember laughing quite a lot while playing it for the first time.
if it is a reference, it's an accidental one, but considering I can't remember where I get stuff from half the time, it's very possible I was quoting subconsciously. If you figure out where it's from, I'd be very curious to know. (The dress is evil. It should be the final boss in the game)
And same. It's such good, harmless fun in a way. Legacy is very heavy and dark in most places and it's interesting to have MotA pointing in the exact opposite direction.
I did the sneaking part once to get the achievement/trophy.
And here I am inflicting it on myself for the 12th time >_>. Aleema got free pass to slaughter left and right because she was pretty abbrasive anyw- HOW DID YOU JUST SEE ME FROM ACROSS THE ROOM, YOU ASSHOLE, YOU WERE FACING AWAY.
I did the sneaking part for in-character reasons and ended up knocking a lot of guards over the head. Fortunately Orlesians are strangely complacent about randomly waking up on the floor.
I love it, especially when happens three times in a row. Nothing suspicious at all!
I kinda like the sneaking part, mostly because I memorized how to do it. I had to like it, it was in-character for a lot of my Hawkes.
I like the sarcastic option while dealing with the first guard. I mean, he's a guard. He died guarding. That's what guards do.
Her reaction here surprises me every time.
All in all it rises some troubling questions about what happens at these parties.
I'm not actually half bad at sneaking anymore - I got through with getting caught only once this time, but if it wasn't because it'd be OOC for anyone but Aleema I'd take the bumbling murder way any day over this.
With Tallis, yeah... it doesn't feel like a big moment until she makes it one. Life is usually so cheap in these games.
ahhh I love this~
perfectly in line with my humor~
oh would you look at that, a post that isn't about Beautiful Men :'D
Seriously, that dress is amazing. By comparison to EVERYONE ELSE THERE, Hawke looks like a high class escort in that dress.
Without Boob Staff, she just has to find some other way to attract all that awkward attention she's used to.
Real reason being I didn't consider how low cut it was when I got the mod, I just checked the screenshots fast for general design. That'll show me XD
What does the unmodded dress look like? Do you think this is a creepy fanservice mod?
I'll let Letitia answer. Letty, what was the dress like?
(You wear bright fuchsia pants. It's not really a dress - it's clearer in that gif Joie showed earlier)
It could well be. On the other hand, it was packaged with more ordinary noble dresses, so I could just have had Joyce go in a dress that was in the style of her mansionwear. I just haaaaad to be experimental and go into this with a mod I hadn't tested visually. At least it made for good jokes, I guess...
EDIT: I'd forgotten the different Natural Hair and Polychromatic Soul makes to general appearance. Wow.
Randomly...but Bioware is giving away the DLC for DA:O, DA:A, and DA2 today.
YES, YOUR NECK.
WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME GAME?
EEEEEEE!!! Now I feel a bit silly having already bought most of it XD;
I was hoping nobody would notice as quickly as I did - it's a bit worse when she moves, too. I'm pretty sure what's happened THERE is that the dress did not have anything even close to a neckline so it's just skin-hued paint on another dress model. Cricket... I'm sticking with the sponatenous Adam's apple.
"Hawke is a basalit-an, worth of respect! So I'll lie and treat him/her as an idiot!"
Yeah, but it always makes sense in DA2 because you spent a year as a smuggler or a mercenary, so you know that's just how things go. Plus, one of the most important thing of the Qun is having a role.
Isn't it kinda wrong that she asked a guard to refuse his role in order to save his life?
Or the Arishok sucks at explaining the Qun?
You know, there is a creepy mage robe in DA:O who looks fine until you put it on a female character. I'll screenshot it later, it's like Joyce's dress, but blue.
I don't know why.
Considering she thinks Hawke would steal things just because they were asked to from Varric's stories, you'd REALLY think she'd know better.
There's the damned thing, right? What he says fits perfectly with what Sten says, but either make it a point to remind you they're not equipped to explain. Then again, with Saemus... all he ever does is trying to abandon and break out of his role as the Viscount's son, so maybe it's just the Qunari thing everyone not in the Qun doesn't have a role to adhere to anyway, and thus can't break it.
Until we ran into Tallis I was actually considering mentioning how glad I am DA2 GENERALLY keeps items looking alike for men and women even more than DAO did. DAO's mage robe mishaps are a bit worse than what happens to Circle robes on a man contra a woman in 2, though. And Velanna's outfit...
According to in-source information, people think that Hawke may be sleeping with the captain Guard (Charade) but if Anders moves in then he's nervous because people talk about it (Codex) but then Hawke confronts Varric about people gossiping on his/her LI and Varric blames Gamlen (Legacy).
So basically everyone in Kirkwall is shipping Hawke with anyone.
Then Tallis asks Hawke if he/she is married.
Arent's spies supposed to do some research first?
But did he? He convert and went to the Qunari camp. Was he refusing his role? Or did he have to be reassigned to another one because he now he's a Qunari?
Sten is really perplexed and talks about "farmer wanting to be noble", so maybe they think people have a role and just reassign the one who join the Qun society? I'm not sure Seamus was allowed to have the role of a viscount in the Qun society after all.
The Tevinter ones are kinda strange... Velanna's outifit didn't bother me that much.
But now, I present you: the Revered Father Robe!
...I guess Zevran was right about the things going on behind closed doors?
That's... the exact same dress, isn't it? And it makes absolutely no sense in conversion.
I guess we should help. We've done this much already...
Well, she said that innocent people would die. And she wasn't lying. So let's help innocent people.
If it turns out that there was a dirty lie she didn't tell, Joyce could kill her later!
*Logic, how does that work*
This is DA2, who needs logic when you can have unabashed violence?
That's two for helping Tallis so far! Yes, I need help keeping count even when it's this minor.
"I hope you really do understand what's at stake."
"Nope. Fancy that: you don't tell me, I don't know. But hey, good luck with that suicide mission of yours!"
Separate names with a comma.
