The capsule opens and we have our title characters back and fine.
Or as fine as they may be given the circumstances.

Shhh, it's okay, yellowball, it's okay. You're fine and with your new bestest friend ever again.

Xolga, on the other side, looks like he had a hangover.

Toko probably looks like he seeing the ghosts of all his dead relatives.

    Oh, we miss you too.

    You have no idea, Xol-kun.

A weird, very vivid dream of a certain doom.

    Just a "little" bit?

Then Xolga examins the beds where they were sleeping and...
I don't know you, but I would have selected a different font for the futuristic machine of god knows what.

    Explain us, oh mighty bear

Like the little dreams cubes from Strange Days?

It take a special talent and a big amount of variable luck to do so

    Because is the happy machine?

    oh, god.

Wait, that was a happy memory of Xolga? The memory of a alcoholic mom acting motherly and letting her kid to play in the coin plain of the local convenience store qualifies as happy on his scale of memories?
Suddenly I don't want to know how the rest of Xolga's childhood was.

At least Xolga have some conciousness oh how his childhood was shitty, and how such an small gesture meant that much for him.

    Xolga, that's cruel.

    And then Toko realizes
    no
    I can't tell him
i don't even know what the hell was that.
if I tell Xolga, he will either mock me or worry endlessly
no, he isn't that cruel to mock me
but what if he fears me if i tell him
    what i was

    so
    what should i say
I want him to be my friend
he says we're not, but I'm sure we are
    but, if i tell him
    then he...
    he...

    no, i can't tell him
    I can't
    i can't
    he will worry
he will have fear of me
so, instead, let's go with what he said
    what he said, again?

And Toko decides to keep the genki façade, despite not even him buying it anymore.

Xolga, I'll forgive you because since episode 1 it's obvious that reading people isn't your best point.

Well, Toko, there are myriad of reasons

    Deep and profound reasons

    That's one, for example.

    How so?

There could be people needing to relieve their guilt for their past mistakes, or people which feel they're atoning that way.

Not much,, but some at least.

Then Toko remembers the last words of the blue eyed man

    So they wouldn't haunt you

    Highly probable.

Wiping memories is complicated, neurologically speaking. Sealing them away is more feasible. Even real life amnesiacs, not the type that you can see on media, can have some things lingering.

    He said something else?

Memories recovered are funky like that

I could give a lot of reasons, but the most probable is the one of real life thigs: search of an identity, of a sense of belonging to anything.
If that's the case, then, what kind of life you had before joining them?

For what Austin said,, back then you are a lot like you are now.

Even then, you were a ball of optimistic genkiness, only more bloodthisrty.

But it doesn't feel that way, huh?

An unchangeable thing, in a wold of constant change

Still, there is a blessing to this constant life of uncertainty.

    Now, with me:

And then a door opens and what, there was a door here?
    ohshitoshitohshit

Whenever, just hide, or jump dimensions again!

    You're losing time by infighting!

wait, that ears... that t-shirt... that brown fur...

Is that what I think it is?

Xolga, meet the version of you that works on the future time mall on Chrono Days, since this is the world you have fallen already.

And with this blatantly violation to all the time-travelling laws I know, we end this chapter. Now, we can retreat and heal our hurt hearts. I don't have ice cream so I'll binge on Twistos, strawberry mousse, and Farmville 2.

    People:
I had to install the dreaded recordMyDesktop so I could caught the scene at the end of the 7th chapter (you'll know which one) because I don't know how to make Shutter do timed screen autocapturing for me.If I manage to do it right, I'll make a gif of the relevant scene. If not... well, on video I can capture the exact moment better.
On the other side, the number of caps I took, even before whatever I get that final captures or not, is bigger than the max number of recent images I can see on imgur, so this means that I'll begin to post the 7th episode... in some minutes, when I upload until the end of the intro.

As they say in my country, lo prometido es deuda, what is promised is indebted. So, Let's play more Xolga and Mr Toko, so I can try to finish the first series before this year ends, and the whole saga before i finish my work vacations

The 7th jump chapter! In telenovela lingo, we are in la etapa culminante, coming into a climax.
But as any novela watcher can say you, being in la etapa culminante doesn't means that the end is near. That will be in a couple of chapters.
Anyway, let's go deeper in the mysteries!

Given the past episode, is this a hint? Will Pacdabutt pull off a "All just a dream" on us?

This is were we left last episode. Today, the continuation.

    I don't think so, Toko

If something, you should suggest a clone

    Anorther!Xolga seems genuinely surprised

From another time, another story, baby

From this temporal line, or a ex-parallel one?

    I'm afraid not.

Future Xolga keeps the snark going fluid and fresh

Even Xolga is stumped by his own self.

Translationb: we will be still friends in the far flung future of god knows when?

Translation: yes, I still have to deal with your sorry butt.

    And that's because....?

Remind me to do a 'shopping of Toko with She-Hulk later

Sorry Toko, I think you don't have "the touch" for atracting women of any type.

C'mon, machines that make you revive forgotten memories, microchip-like decoration everywhere, why are you asking the obvious?

So the dude can do time traveling if he wants? Groovy!

Toko seems enthused to learn that he has that ability

The dream of every dimension jumper.

Also the dream of a Xolga tired of travel.

Because the funky Medallion is a bastard.

Well, I wouldn't qualify you as "awesome", but more as "paranormal shit magnet"

The question of the 64.000 lochas.

    This doesn't bodes fine...

Nope, because Future You is a smart cookie (a genius shortbread)

"lesseee how I explain it to ya..."

"And I don't have the energy to tell it"

The fact that the world hadn't exploded after your meeting means that the fabric of time in your multiverse is sturdier than it seems, so don't give me that talk.

Xolga, are you buying this bullshittery?

What, to make the time explode ot to change your freaking future of retail employee?

    Future Xolga share my fears.

"I'm going to bring that Funky Bastard Medallion into submission, whatever he likes it or not!"

Future Xolga is all "this isn't what I planned for this"

    Xolga is confirming an hypothesis

    le quoi?

So it turns out the yellowball doesn't have any control of his teleporting abilities

So until now Toko has been like the TARDIS, but in yellow?

Read this with the happy tone of a 6 year old you had teach how to make kool-aid for the very first time.

"nah, just retconning this adventure out of existence"

"and I could go back to my nice, boring life, thankuverymuch"

Because this is a fucking stable timeloop or whatever the trope is called.

Xolga, this is future you, he is into something you hadn't learn yet.
Please don't we go Karkat Vantas in this issue, please, that future/past sides self-fighting was annoying at the time.

The only answer that thing will give involves a finger. A middle one, to be more exact

And so, Xolga went to screw things even more.

"He may know somethingb you're overlooking"

    Translation: "fuck him sideways".

And finally, in a Time and place our protagonists can roam truly free!

Xol, the kid wants attention, be a good parental surrogate and give it to him.

Read in the same tone of the phrase "stop nagging!"

Because, you know, its your ~future~ and shit

Maybe he knows the size of the disaster you're going to cause.

No matter what we choose, the result is more or less the same. I choose the first, but the difference with the answer for the second is just wording.

Poor Toko didn't expected the verbal kick he just told to him.

    Xolga, however, hadn't finished yet.

And in going so, is composting the terrain for a full crop of bastardy

In Xolga's mind, he is "Fine! I finally said so! I had to!"
On Toko's, however, the story is very different.

Is true that Toko has embarrassed Xolga, accused him of sexual abuse, and has been all around full annoying on him. But it's also true that Toko have the emotional maturity of a modern tween and didn't meant any lasting harm. In fact, there have been more time where Toko has been out of his way to be genuinely caring and useful, as much as his limited understandings can be.
In any other circumstances, Toko would dismiss Xolga's exhabrupt as his normal grumpiness. But remember, our floating egg chum is still raw for both having relieved the horrible murder of his former best friend, and having had to pretend normalcy for Xolga's sake. So, this is the last staw.

The ultimate expression of "I won't take your crap anymore".
Then, as he flown towards the sun, in a complete blaze of glory, he transformed in a brilliant ball of fire. And some say, as he soared into the sun set, that he yelled "IT'S MY LIFE" before he retreated into the clouds to never return.
(a cookie for who catch the reference)

No, but seriously, Xolga, those words of you are going to bite you hard.

Time changes the streets, you know.

Another side effect of roaming like that.

    My creamy stuffing!

Hey, I remember those blue locks....

Our blue friend goes (.......) and then
    [IMG]
Well, yes, but we're not going to tell you that.

You're the magnet for troubled people.

    Bluette is worried for you.

That the slavery ended in the 1800's...

    Oh, snap!

And a lot of other things of common sense.

A route I have to play some day, thanks for the reminding!

    Repeating yourself much?

Eh, I don¡t remember Chrono Days going that route.

And a very huggable one! but don't hug it much, he has an strong uppercut

Yes, "found" it please don't pay attention to the bites on my back.

    Landon has good morals.

But it's so kyooot! My BFF will love it and smooch it and be very grateful if I gift it to her and it will increase my score possibilities!

I assume they are equaling this to an iPod, because if I lost my chinese MP3 I'll be ""whaaaaaaaaaaaaaY__Y--- wahatever, let's buy another cf these silicon craps"

You are quite laidback. Too bad the personality you showed on your first cutscenes in your game gave me some creeps.

A good question, Xol! Keep sleuthing!

    I WONDER WHY

Way young;, even accounting for art style I don't calculate Landon more than 25 years old or so.

    This story seems familiar...

    Ah righ... 19? 19!?
I calculated him old enough to drink in the USA, but then I hadn't played these brothers routes.

Oh, my, this universe is mean... and full of teenagers talented enough to land jobs with pays over the survival line.

Xolga, this isn't the moment to remember the only relatives that care for you.

Xolga, stop, you're being too you.

Now I'm intrigued how Landon looked before.

"Why she doesn't smiles gor me? I'm younger, more handsome, more cool, more awesome than Big Bro why she doesn't give me the same smiles?"

And this, people of Broken Forum, is why Teddy, despite his "childhood friend in love" setup, skeeves me more than Pedostache Principal Amanonashi.

Yeah, yeah, we will try it with every small keyhole we see, but flet's try our Universal Control(tm)

New mission: to get a battery! Maybe on the repairshop...

    Now, to the solution:
    First, go for that sackbarrow.
If they lost its key, their loss.

    Now, for the "circuit" boxes:

Well, you are human shape, that you physical shape seems weak is another thing entirely

Kids in the future don't learn about simple machines at school?

Because I don't like you that much.

    Nice jab!

And Ao no Yandere Teddy resigns himself to be outwitted by a robobear.

And now, behold as I use the strange artifact known as a wooden crate!
Kids on the future are either too sheltered or too accustomed to the automation of everything.

Then use those scissors in the cable nest:

I wonder where i can use it?
No, seriously, I can't go with this pretension anymore, just go to the closed street.

Now, to finish, isnt clicking on the battery, but on the remote again what solves the enigma.

    I hope so.

and then, the door opens up and...
    YES!
AND CAUGHT JUST BEFORE THE TRANSITION!

So finally our adventure here with Teddy The Troubled Teen has finished.
"Now go. Shoosh, shoosh i can't run away of you fast enough."

    Yes, now go home.

"I I say this, you will go away?"

Yes, is the prevention of something stupider.

So, this is the end of the Episode 7.
Episode 8 will be screencapted and posted when my PC can connect again.., or when I lose the shame and do the needed stuff on the parental computer that I'm using. Whatever comes first. Meanwhile, I'm gonna play Chrono Day, looking into if it's possible to romance the male chobbit without using codes. 'Til then!

People, I have come to say that I played Chrono Days, and you can get Male Chobbit Oz without having to use the cheats, but then you end without enough money to give him gifts (or at least I never realized what he does like until I finished the round and realized I never got him stickers) Still i got his best end via dialogue tree which is all good, I guess?

Also, I got my desktop computer back, meaning that I played andI got the captions for the 8th episode, and I'm uploading them right now. You'll see an actualization tomorrow, for real.

Welcome Back! Last time, we saw a tragick accident that may or may not have been caused by a rogue bear. Now This episode will be full of rogue bear going against his alleged emotions and visit the unfortunate victim. Who Happens to be his cousin. Cousins. Just Cousins. Cousins.

Carne de primo también se come, they say on my homeland.

Anyways, lets get away with the cryptic intro text, yes? [IMG] [IMG] Reading these thing makes me feel that the Funky Medallion of Doom is just the form that Kyubey takes in the Patcheverse.

Being a decent person for once?

    That's good. I'd have to ask my M.D. S.O. if that's a good sign.

So you kinda expected that he died so you could have a better excuse to see him?

Then do the right thing and go see our future romantic interest on memory Days.
I mean, Our like "Me and the BF", Xolga, this doesn't includes you.
Now I'm totally use the name Xolga on my next playing of Memory Days

I swear for whichever you hold most sacred I have not abandoned nor forgotten about this LP, but a plethora of issues, mostly about politics on my country and the emotional drainage they have left on me, left me without the wit needed to keep posting. Also, given the theme of the episode, and the nature of the recent news, it didn't feel appropriate to post.

Still, since I have All the cap, I'll post something soon. Promise.

So. The intro of this episode was post back on February. Due to a combination of job exhaustion, laziness, the emotional draining provoked by the lovely events in certain south American country with a name beginning with V where I have the bad luck of have born and living, and gorging on Farmville 2, Tumblr, assorted fan works, and subtitled episodes of the Nostalgia Critic (coping methods provoked the above mentioned lovely country events), our dear bear has been waiting his chance of visit his hospitalized cousin for months. This has been for so long that, when I'll play the sequel series, it will be blind again.

Even if nobody cares about this LP, I spent all my afternoon preparing this post. So let's C&P and finish this episode already.
Let's put this bear out of his misery.

That Janitor wasn't there when we first explored this.

But the rest of his stuff can be useful, right?
In truth you can do a lot with it, you only don't know how.

If you say it's "just" an air conditioner, you hadn't needed it on the hot summer days of a tropical country.

Also, your lovely felt could dampen and dirt, and we don't want that.

Hmm... reception is to the right (or scenic left). Let's go there.

So the mission is distract them! But with what?

Fiddling with the Air conditioner gives us the same "Just an air conditioning" of above. Fiddling with the window give us a possible course of action

Never is just a ordinary stuff, Xol, but I'm having an Idea.

    Used Syringe get!
I hope this one hadn't be used in someone with an infectious thing, or it will be Halloween again.
Although... what if we use this with the water bucket?

That Janitor was neglecting his job before anyway. Now go to the north room!

Hey, that admin dude still have Windows XP. And that tissue box look ominous...
    Get under the desk, Xol-kun!

That, if this isn't the archetypal PEBCAK. This one may know how to turn off the computer and everything!

See? Although his work seems to be moving files right now...
But that tissue box bothers me. Xolga, do something!

    Dumbass

I don't think so, he seems very happy moving folders between disks to notice.

    Told so.

I think there is a certain window that miss their cranky crank a bit too much. Let's reunite the star-crossed lovers.

By tricking them. But I can't see someone trickable here yet

Must be an pre-Impressionist replica, given that has a golden frame and everything

    Pity.
Oh, those are drawers. Time for looting!

    Repeat X 3

A bear with a razor blade. Not as dangerous as a monkey with the same, but almost.
What we know that we can be cut?

Good thing you have now a fabric body now, Xolga, or you would hve been electrocuted by now!

And still you got it anyway

Hey, on my work we have a similar one. We use it for the Air conditioner.
Hmm.. this gives me an idea....

    This one...

    ...This other...

Use the tissue box on the glass gives us this result.
That must be the jumbo sized box.

Oh, Xolga's other, younger, less cool cousin!
    Yay! I mean, shit!

Xol, use the magic instrument on your hands!
... not that, perv, the air conditioner control.

Wait for it... wait for it...

Just like the Min-Health Clinic my S.O. works!

If this was my country, the blackout would last 5 hours and they'd cancel the visits.
But this is the penultimate episode and the set is in a developed country, so I'll calculate like 5 minutes.

Great, so Kai not only is whole and unbroken, now he has acquired Xolga's amazement of the idea that his relatives care.

As energetic as a VN paperdoll can transmit.

It's my idea, or Kai seems to be embarrassed of having been run over?

Mako's frown is sorta adorable, and at least Kai seems to be sorry for going Xolga on his family.

That's sorta overprotective. I mean, the dude have been living on his own for thee years now and, until this accident he seems fine. But, you know, mothers.

Kai, is normal, you can marry and have kids an become a multimillionaire and win the Nobel prize for whatever and they still want you to keep living with them.

What Kai is thinking: "I don't think that my little brother can understand my pure love feelings for my tsundere cousin, and why I can't call this search out."

Mako: "I only came here called by the Ghost of the Present Christmas."

A good question, since for what we know you wasn't even alive.

So you have contact with what I think is your sister in law, but not with your wife and kid. Classy.

So the dead one is Kai's dad. Classic. But what are you doing here?

Now I'm beginning to understand her, and the origin of her alcoholic, emotionally abusive ways.

Finally, Kai realizes there is something suspicious in that strangely damp bear plush in the fruit basket.

Too late, Xol, just drop the masquerade already and sort your cousin incestuous feelings for you.

And for some reason Patche-chan decided to name this woman instead of leaving her simply as "Nurse", for all the importance she have to the plot.

If this isn't enough fuel for your Kai->Xolga shipping needs, I don't know what may be.

    Xolga, still not getting it.

We too, dear, and how shippy that scene has become.

And there is the reason Xolga is not getting hit by the clue-by-four. Nothing like a shield of self-loathing to absorb the hints of reality!

Kai, honeypot, you have a point here but Xolga is too far away of sane people reasoning to get it.

The only people who never fails is the one whonever does anything, Xol

    Still, Xolga doesn't get it.

And does what he always do: run away.

    "To find my DESTINY!
Or go back to my human body, it's the same thing anyway"

    At least an honest answer.

In his infinite sweetness, Kai can't comprehend the idea that not everybody will be as accepting of Xolga as he is.

Xolga, attempting to give his cousin some kind of closure.
And doing it surprisingly fine, considering.

    Don't give him ideas!

    Don't even consider it!

The fluffy stuffing didn't change his hardened cynical heart and tsundere temper.

A caring reaction! Tunderesque, but caring still!

The very image of genuine love here, folks.

A brief transition implying Xolgas's escape, and...

Hung yourself in a clothes hanger.

Your future self is way cooler than you, don't even dare to think that way about him.

Ah, the vagueness of "you'll know when you see it"...:

    Who know, so many things!

And the Light of Plot Significance hits Xolga!

Who, I thought we had it woth you already.

His reasoning "With those, she'll squee for enough time for me to get away of any item she could trow at my head before I explain myself"

I hate the unfortunate implication here that a woman can't be self-sufficient, sane and sober unless the husband is near, but let's slide it in the name of the drama and because the author still doesn't knows better yet.

Weird time to have the last bus of the day, too awfully early.

If the thing appears to the Time Of The Beast of 06:06:06pm, I'm going to scream.

Hey, a full color flash back!

Whoops, the Medallion of Doom escaped screenshooting again!

Now, Xolga! Show us the sekkrit method you future self told you!

The determination of a teddy bear.

Isn't this a lyric of Captain Jack's "Dream A Dream"?
(probably not, but this is a time as good as any to post the song

You won't believe this, because I couldn't think of record video of this special event, but the Goddamned Locked Of Hell And Despair actually stops mid air and falls to the floor!

    Simple Solutions FTW!
Wait, there isn't a rule that for each problem is a solution that's easy, quick and wrong?

Maybe you have to talk to it.

It's me, or this shot just screams "BAD IDEA XOLGA GET THE FUCK OUT GET THE FUCK OUT, GET THE FUCK OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT"?

    ...

    ...

Nah, just me! Open the thing, Xol-bear!

And the magick shines and we finish this drama for once and all!
... *back to the chapter list*
Nope, there is an episode more of this season and a second one, so there is obvious that, whatever this does, isn't going to stick.

However, let's see how the Medallion of Doom covers the screen with withe glow and fucks with our main character once again.

    There...

    It did, apparently.

Surprisingly, the Medallion did not fuck with our main character as I feared!

Everybody, let's welcome back to the feared long lost Xolga's hotness!

    And in the next episode:
Will Xolga retain his reacquired human hotness?
What the fuck was that medallion and why transformed our protagonists?
By the way, what happened with Mr. Toko and where the hell is that yellow blob right now?
And how Patchesis justified a second season of this?

All of those questions will be answered on the season finale... when I play it. Probably before May ends, but with my luck, maybe on August or so.

Thank you, poreperuke! I'll keep my hard (?) work!

now that we're talking of that theme, there is a story for you

Once upon a time, there was a Let's Player who spent her Sunday night happily screen-capping the last installment of the episodic VN/Puzzle/Statadmin/whichever thing, when suddenly the program thing the Let's Player was using stop screencapping stuff. and then the stuff on the game was to fast for screen-capping anyway.

"Fear not" Say the Let's Player, "For there is a wondrous thing named recordMyDesktop that can make a recording of me playing this, and there is ways to conert video on animated gifs or whatever"

And lo and so, our intrepid Let's player installed the after-mentioned record program, along with a lot of encoders and a couple of video editors.

Then, on the next day, our intrepid Let's Player went on to record another session of her playing.

Only this one... didn't record correctly.Or at least it wasn't an output.

Then she tried again, this time adding the future file name

This second attempt, the recording and encoding went smoothly, despite the video having a too big marquee. Only that, then our Intrepid Let's player went on listen, she discovered, horrified, that the game sound was overshadowed by horrible, horrible static. and this was horrible because she wanted to show the most emotional scene with the right soundtrack.

So This let's player will post on the hope to arrive to the 160th post so she can begin the finale in a new page, if she manages to screencap the last pasts of the fgame and record another session with better image ratio and no side banners.

(but seriously, I'll see if there are another recorder that can give me more control over the area to record, and try to convert the OVG output until I gert an editable piece of stuff)
