Actually, that photo just got me more motivated to get my ass back on a weight-loss program. Because if *I* tried something like that, it'd look like a watermelon shoved into pantyhose.

Well, I have been working out (again) since about February, and some say it is pretty unfair because I only sort of eat right. If I just work out 2 or 3 times a week for a couple hours and eat reasonably (mostly drink water, few sweets, healthy snacks, lots of fast food ;) ), I look OK. I have been blessed with some sort of super-metabolism and as long as I get the exercise in, it does a pretty good job for me.

At 43, I figure if I don't stick with some sort of regimen now, I might as well give up. My kids need me around, but around and relatively healthy. Plus, my wife will kick me out eventually and I need to be in shape for the 28 year olds. ;)

No shame in admitting to admiring my Ryan Lochte* physique. ;)

*Speaking of douches.

But sadly I ran out of time and only got part way through making felt cut outs that we'd planned to glue onto the suit (and a separate zombie mask) for the fur and horns. :-(

Well, the surgery seems to be doing you some good. You look a lot younger in that last pic.

I misread that as "I am now part Zamboni!" at first for some odd reason.

Well, I am hooked up to an ice machine, and poling around on a wheeled chair!

I had a bath before surgery and the latest pic is only several hours later, whereas in the previous pic I'd been stuck in a knee immobilizer for most of a week after injuring myself while playing soccer and was making due with a wash cloth (though I had a bath right afterwards, since I was just then free from the immobilizer).

I probably look old and dingy again already, since I've a few more days before I'll risk bathing!
