See, y'all are lucky because I look stupid as hell when I'm smiling or happy. Hence why I have tried to adopt "slightly surly" as my default photo expression.

It also works better when shaking one's cane at the kids on the lawn. Well, it does for me anyway.

The looking slightly surly part, not the farting kittens part. I have no experience with the latter.

Actually looking like an anime character would be rather terrifying yes (drosselmeyer got swag tho) but I rather agree with you on the avatar established connection to poster and people looking like nothing expected bit. In this instance it probably doesn't help to look waaay younger then my 100 odd years and holy crap! This was taken before we actually got into drinking and marker warring, no wonder I was having trouble placing it.
