I like that I can post here under my real identity (which I like to do, since being on-the-record forces me to think about what I say and not be a total twatwaffle since I have a somewhat public-facing career) and be treated as another member of the community and not as if I'm wearing my work hat all the time.

Int - 10ish (D&D doesn't measure street smarts)
Wis - 10 (at some point I get a modifier due to age right? )
CHA - This became an N/A stat as soon as I got married.

Charisma measures more than just physical attractiveness. It also covers personal magnetism and persuasiveness. So if you ever try talking to your boss for a raise, you still need to make a charisma roll.

STR: 12 (used to be higher, but now I am a lump :( )
DEX: 7 (I am a spaz)
CON: 10 (I get low-grade sick a lot but not SO sick I think I have a con penalty, so...)
INT: 12 (THAT'S RIGHT, TWELVE)
WIS: 12 (THAT'S RIGHT, TWELVE)
CHA: 14 (PEOPLE LIKE ME I DON'T KNOW WHY)

Not with an 18 STR I don't.

There's a pretty great body of evidence for that mounting up.

I genuinely like when people get to a point where there is a broad agreement on the big issues. Far too often it's a case of people bashing skulls over the same basic fundamentals of A versus B. Deep fundamental differences and it's rare that anything gets achieved bare people getting angrier and angrier. When people actually agree on the underlying stuff the talk turns to far more interesting things. It's not longer a case of "Is there climate change? AND EVEN STILL ALL YOUR EVIDENCE IS BULLSHIT!" but people discussing what needs to be done to address climate change, so you get to see plans for dealing with things. And here even if someone disagrees with climate change I can see them still agreeing that carbon output and reliance on fossil fuels needs to stop with a change towards sustainable energy, so they get behind the discussion.

How about stripping? Are you as good as him in that?
