EverQuest nostalgia makes this video good enough for me (except.... this also clashes with my Legend of Zelda nostalgia, since Link isn't an elf , he's Hylian, but whatever).
Royal Institution 2012 Christmas Lectures: The Modern Alchemist: Air These lectures are aimed at kids primarily, so aren't advanced, but they're really well done and packed with cool experiments. And if, like me, your basic chemistry knowledge is lacking, it's certainly informative.
For some reason, Youtube videos keep not seeming to load completely and then cutting off, suddenly altering the total playtime to however far they'd gotten before abruptly stopping. Reloading the video sometimes helps, but usually it just gets to the same point and then cuts off again. If, however, I fast forward to just past that point, the video loads and plays just fine.
I worked at the Florida Museum of Natural History and was always prepared to be greeted by someone's freshly dissected monkey every time I walked through a door, never flinched. It takes that to give me nightmares tonight. Hate.
Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta spent the last two years shooting a live-action, shot-for-shot remake of the entire Pixar classic, using live actors, real toys, the original movie's soundtrack, stop-action effects, and plenty of awesome puppetry. It's astonishingly detailed and accurate, using a mix of hand-made and store-bought toys and about 150 friends of the two filmmakers. It even impressed the brass at Pixar: Pauley and Perrotta were allowed to pass out DVDs of the film in front of Pixar's offices.
Man, I just spent way too much time watching his drive-thru pranks. The fire wallet really made me lol.
Neat, I don't recall seeing one of those in D&D, which is saying something, considering the plethora of polearms that they had.
Oh man I wish I had discovered them sooner. I could have posted this masterpiece for Juste in the other thread
That was painfully accurate, except for the easy listening part. +1 would like again. Funny song, reminds me a lot of Green Jellö from way, way back.
Those guys did a whole bunch of those, but then sort of just disappeared. A few aren't fantastic, but there are quite a few really excellent ones. Two of my favorites: A Fistful of Explosions and Bridge Baffoonery
Two top-tier lasertag combatants square-off and compete during a 1v1 exhibition showdown at the 2012 lasertag world championships. These men are at the very top of their game, and the battle was a genuine crowd-pleaser.
