A ! :D
Okay, everyone convinced me, I'm voting for A.
(that is deep approval of the letter A, not screaming)
((which apparently made me forget English for a second))
I knwo there's a good chance Tamir's going ot get pissy and impatient if we pick C. Plus Ivan will be disappointed we're not as effcient in our duties, which is somethign he holds serious. But I'm torn about what to actually say.
If we pick A, can we be all, 'YES, I'M KEEPING IT, SCREW YOUR SONS. I can do that personally, harem time, I'm the ruler, yaaaay."
Omg... I initially wanted to vote C, but now I'm voting A. Everyone has convinced me to. XD
I picks C. That way we can stay and oogle Ivan longer!!
Even though i just wanna look at Chezem
Guys, I think Chezem ships them.
It's great~ :'D
I'm not sure. I want to say A, but I'm not sure if that would be the right way to go. So maybe C? I dunno, whichever works.
A. I'm sure things will work out fine if you suddenly declare that you're in love with the butler. He'll probably reveal himself to be some long-lost secret bastard child of the king. It's Voltage, after all. No such thing as a bad end, just an end with less men who love you.
Chezem~~~~~you perfect little ball of studious--I mean, C. Ivan, right, right.../slaps self to stop looking Chezem's hair/
...I think I need to go reread my own LP. And maybe capitalize all my sentences in there.
Chezem: best choice even when it isn't his route
...he's one of the hired help.
Tamir is pleased.
Tamir: "Even if it's not love, someone has caught your eye, right?"
...Why do I get the feeling that Tamir expected her to marry whoever she gave the bracelet to from the get-go?
Tamir tells her to relax and take her time *ahem* "studying" "that person". (He's not pressing her for a name yet). He doesn't want her decision until she's completely sure.
Amaya thanks the king and then looks around, realizing that Ivan isn't there.
Amaya: (I haven't seen him all day. I thought he'd be with the king...)
She yelps, startled, wondering how he knew what she was thinking.
It's because Jun is a creepy, creepy man.
Jun: "He went to the hospital. Just for a regular checkup, mind you."
Amaya: "Oh, I see..."
Amaya: (A checkup means there's nothing wrong with him, right?)
Just keep telling yourself that, sweetie.
Still, she thinks Ivan has been acting strange lately. He's suddenly started trying to avoid her.
Ivan, why won't you let us love you?!
Jun starts pressing her on if she likes Ivan or not. Before he can start singing "Ivan and Amaya sitting in a tree" she flees the scene.
She walks down the hall, sighing, thinking that if Ivan were there, he would have stepped in and helped her, like he did when she first got the bracelet and the king was pressuring her.
When my horse ran wild, he came to my rescue.
He cared about me when I was soaked with rain and made me feel at ease.
Amaya: (I'm always being saved by him...)
Ivan. Always at my side like it was only natural.
That made me happy. That's why I've been feeling a bit sad.
Amaya: (All right, I've decided.)
She hates the way things are right now, so she's going to talk to Ivan when he returns.
I miss competent, adult communication.
She starts walking back to her room when...
???: "Hold it."
Ugh. I hoped we wouldn't have to deal with them on this route. C'est la vie.
???: "He always gets in our way, that Ivan. What an insolent servant."
Amaya gets angry at them speaking ill of Ivan. Her voice shaking, she addresses them.
Amaya: "Excuse me, who might you be?"
???: "What? You don't know me? I'm Balam, one of the ministers."
???: "I'm his daughter, Falitna."
Charmed. Now kindly fuck off.
Falitna: "I hear you have the bracelet, the royal family's treasure."
Amaya: "Huh? Oh yes. It just happened."
Falitna: "You've been here a while and you still haven't picked any of them. A commoner like you had better not say you don't like any of them!"
"Now hurry up and make up your mind so I know who to seduce!"
Balim: "Calm down, Falitna. Listen, you. If you don't like any of the princes, how about me?"
Balim: "If you give me the bracelet, I'll make sure you're well taken care of. I'll give you a suitable position once I'm king. What do you say?"
Amaya: "No, I don't really..."
Balim: "What about money? Jewels? I'll give you as many as you want, as king."
He keeps pressing Amaya, despite her protests. She can't even flee to her room because Balim has grabbed tightly ahold of her wrist.
She's wondering what to do when she hears a familiar voice.
Ivan: "Miss Amaya."
Amaya: (Ivan! He's back!)
Ivan: "Forgive me for interrupting, Lord Balim and Lady Falitna. However Miss Amaya has to attend a history lecture right now. Please continue your conversation another time. Let's go, Miss Amaya."
Balim: "Wait, Ivan! I'm still talking to that girl..."
Ivan: "You're holding her hand. Please let go."
Amaya can hear great anger in Ivan's voice. Balim must hear it too, because he finally lets go of her.
Amaya: (Thank goodness.)
Ivan: "Miss Amaya, are you all right?"
Amaya: "Uh, yes. He just grabbed my wrist, that's all."
Sounding relieved, Ivan strokes her wrist gently.
Amaya: "Y-you're exaggerating."
She decides to speak to him.
Thank you, Ivan ;_;
Your cold hand also worries me, but you hate being questioned about health.
I like the implication that he's been running interference on Balam since this whole thing started. Thank you, Ivan! \o/
Thank you, Ivan! Let me love you!
THANK YOU IVAAAAAN~!!!!
Did you ever know that you're my heroooooo~
aka thank him, because fuck Balam and his scheming.
thanks an awful lot ( hey, Falitna is one hell of a gold digger here oO..)
so the plan is
Give the bracelet to the worst candidate> throw Falitna at him> don't give a damn' about not-Arabia and "Hey, Ivan, I've got nothing to do right now, I'm far from home since so long that my boss must be thinking I'm dead, why not let me visit Not-Russia now?"
I support this plan.
And being Falitna must be so confusing. Her personality seems to change with whoever Amaya is in love with. Imagine living like that. Never knowing if you'll wake up a bitchy golddigger, a bitchier rival or a loyal childhood friend. There's a true horror story happening here.
haha wow being actually attracted to the love interest changes things a lot ...
Also before anything else Thank him.
Thank you, you wonderful, wonderful man.
Thank him for coming to our rescue!
I mean, that Balam guy looks like he could eat us for a snack!
Oh God Ivan, now my heart goes doki-doki even more.
IVAN. Your timing is AMAZING. Please god, take my hand and never let it go! Why is your's cold? Can I hol dit in mine and try to warm you up? God I wish you wouldn't keep secrets from me. I'm just as worried not knowing as I would be knowing what's wrong. Thank you. Thank you for always protecting me! But don't protect me from YOU! Please don't disappear. Please don't lie anymore. Between this and e My Princess the rapey abduction tones are frying my nerves. ._.
Thank you Ivan!
Thank you, Ivan!
Ivan: "Not at all. I just didn't want the schedule to be disrupted."
...And that's it.
Here's what we're supposed to do:
Ivaaaan, let us worry about yoooou!
Amaya: "But you don't look very well..."
She thinks he's a little paler than usual.
Ivan: "You're imagining it. It's dark around here anyway. Anyway, let's go back to your room. As I said, today... Urgh!"
It doesn't look like nothing!
Ivan: "I'll be fine once I take some medicine..."
He takes a small packet from his pocket with trembling hands. There are various pills inside. He swallows some of them. In a few minutes his breathing calms down.
Amaya: "Umm, Ivan..."
Ivan: "Please don't worry. It's an old disease. It flares up sometimes."
Ivan: "That wasted our time. Let's hurry."
He stands up and walks off as if nothing is wrong.
Amaya: (I knew it. Ivan...)
Well, this just makes me more worried.
Ivan. Don't tell me you got heart disease.
Well, it wasn't Chezem so of course my second favourite guy out of what I've seen is the Sickly Love Interest. Damnit.
Amaya's been worried about Ivan ever since he had that attack in front of her, but he keeps shrugging her off when she presses him.
Amaya: (I knew it. Ivan is hiding something.)
There haven't been any other incidents, as far as she knows, but she's not always with him.
Ivan? Is that you?
Amaya: "Oh. Yes. I'm good to go."
Amaya: (Wait, huh?)
She just now realizes Ivan is wearing different clothes than usual.
Amaya: (Wow, that's a fresh look...)
His usual clothes suit him, but this is really...
Amaya: "Huh? Ah, yes! I'm listening!"
Ivan: "About today's schedule..."
Wait a minute... this sounds kind of like he's asking her...
Oh my God! He's asking her out on a date!
Amaya: "Into the city?"
Ivan: "Yes. Is that fine with you?"
Amaya: "I don't mind, but..."
Amaya: (The city, huh. Must be more training. I was so busy looking at him I failed to listen.)
She is completely oblivious.
Shortly after they leave the palace, the car stops in front of a store.
Amaya: (This store sells brand goods?)
Ivan: "Miss Amaya. Please pick whatever you like."
Amaya: (What's this all of a sudden?)
The store has a lot of variety, and everything looks really expensive.
Amaya: (Ah. Maybe it's a test to see if I can judge expensive items correctly?)
Amaya. I just- I can't-
Tempted as I am to shamelessly get him a wedding ring, let's go with the practical. C.
Let's buy some pretty clothes! B
Awww yeah. Ivan is best sugar daddy. Holy crap I like you. A!
Except, I suspect the fact that stupid protag was consumed by lust as I would have been and didn't hear him saying something will become relevant. What did we misssss.... Never fail to listen to a word that passes those sweet lips!
Wait, is there actually a RIGHT answer in this one as well!?
B. Pick a pretty dress, Amaya.
A! Let's go shamelessly for the ring.
B Pick some clothes amaya, I remind you that you have only a travel case here.
B! That way Amaya can match his snazzy new look.
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE?! AAAAAA--
B! Because we want new clothes since all of our old ones got stolen, and something that will make Ivan and the Princes and the crowd outside stare at us.
