Brief off topic note: I'd really like to see what happens if you choose the butler. He's part of the bonus pack, and since he's the only guy I'm currently interested in, I ain't forking over money for both the main game and the expansion just to get him.

Nagit's route is cute, but he's literally half my age, so I felt a bit skeevy the whole time. It's funny that the high-school kids in TMGS don't bother me, but that may be because the protagonists in those games are also in high-school; it's easier to disconnect myself from them because I'm NOT in high-school. In this game, the protagonist is a working adult, so I identify more with her. If that makes any sense.

And yes, the butler. His route surely is intriguing. If Heroine is there to choose the next king, what would happen if you choose the butler? Woudl the butler be king? Would the choice of who is king something completely irrelevant to the romance?

Amaya: "What about you, Ivan? Don't you ride?"

Ivan: "Me? I am just there to guide you. I will not be riding."

So, they get outside, and Ivan apologizes to Nagit for making him wait.


Wow, Nagit, that outfit is, uh...something.

So, Ivan shows Amaya how to take care of a horse and use the gear while Nagit rides outside until she's ready.



Ivan: "Kick the horse;s stomach when you give directions. Not too lightly."

Eventually, she's able to make the horse walk around.



Amaya: "It's pretty fun."

Ivan: "That's good. You'll learn quickly at this rate. You can dismount now. Master Nagit should be back any moment."

But just as Amaya is taking her feet out of the stirrups...



She grabs the reins, trying to stop it, but the horse doesn't slow down even when she pulls back as hard as she can. She has no idea what spooked it; it was really well-behaved until now.

...I'm just going to blame Lambert. He's not even here, but let's go with that.


Now what?

I want to believe that B is the right answer. Although throwing herself off of the horse sounds like the most hilarious reckless option...

Bailing off is potentially a valid option since Amaya's unlikely to be able to bring the horse under control herself.

I'm going with B, though. Action Amaya! Do a thing!

Also, Nagit, what the hell are you wearing?

Though, having been in that situation, it's both scary and thrilling. My horse jumped a fence and ran around a paddock for like 20 minutes before the trainers could catch her. It was really fun after the initial terror, and Sarsaparilla and I were fast friends after that.

I think the horse spotted Nagit and the resulting 'wat' from the outfit broke its brain.

I know the last three times I was in this situation I ended up sliding off at full speed because the horse did a sharp turn as first order of business so I lost my stirrups. but we should try to do something. Hang on. Because that horse I slid off was a Welsh Mountain Pony and that still hurt like hell.

Donmai why is Chezem not in that rap? I am dissapoint.
