Ah, yes, Amaya's horse spooked and ran with her still on it.

Quick! Do...something!



She keeps pulling, hoping it would calm the horse down. She also keeps repeating to herself to keep calm.

Then-


Ivan: "Miss Amaya!"

Ivan's gotten on a horse himself and is heading for her.

Amaya: "Ivan!"

Ivan: "I'm coming over so keep holding the reins like that. You'll be okay. It will calm down soon."

Ivan manages to line up the two horses and Amaya's horse calmed down. Luckily, it hadn't really been going that fast.

Ivan suggests they go around the yard at a slow canter.



Ivan stays with her, and Amaya thinks to herself she was able to relax because he was there. The trip around the courtyard calms both her and the horse down.

Ivan: "Miss Amaya, you aren't hurt, are you?"

Amaya: "No. Just a little startled...Huh?"

Her hands are shaking.

Ivan: "I am truly sorry."


...Huh. Excuse me a moment.



*Ahem* Carrying on.

Amaya: "Ivan..."

Ivan: "I put you in danger out of carelessness. I am very, very sorry."

Amaya: "No, it's okay. I must have scared it somehow..."

Nah, It's Lambert's fault.

It's always Lambert's fault.

ALWAYS.

Ivan: "It's not your fault. The horse must have been nervous too. I'm just glad it ended safely. If you had fallen from the horse, you might not be alive right now."

Oh, come on. Sure, it's possible, but to land that badly she'd have to be really, really unluc- you know what, nevermind.

Ivan: "I'm really, really sorry."


No, Ivan, don't let go.



Amaya comments that she's surprised Ivan could ride. He claims he only knows the basics and doesn't ride unless there's a good reason to. Amaya thinks to herself that he seemed like a really good rider, though.

Ivan: "Watching you made me want to ride for the first time in a long while. Your enthusiasm may have infected me. And you looked so pretty as you sat straight up on the horse."

P-pretty?!



Amaya's heart starts to beat faster.

Amaya: "Then why don't we ride together again sometime? I feel safer when you're right next to me."

And then she makes a move on him. I'm so proud!

Ivan: "All right. We'll do that when we get the chance."

Ivan being Ivan, he admonishes her that she has to practice until she's perfect first, because you never know when something like this will happen again. She somewhat hesitantly says she'll do her best, and Ivan laughs.

Ivan: "You're a fast learner. You'll be handling the horse expertly soon. I promise to ride with you when that happens, all right?"

Amaya: "Yes, of course!"

Ivan: "I'll be looking forward to it."

Nagit finally shows up again.


Yes?

He pouts to Ivan that it's no fair he's keeping all the fun to himself. Ivan starts to apologize.



Nagit asks Amaya if she can still ride, and she says it's fine. She wants to improve her riding quickly so she can ride with Ivan. She goes off to practice with Prince Nagit.

Ivan is a very good pixel boyfriend, but it's nice to see Nagit is genuinely just a nice kid no matter the route - FALITNA.

*screams into pillow with glee*

It is SO much easier to enjoy his route without the forehead wrinkles, he's so sweet!

Amaya isn't precisely bored, but she is starting to feel a bit stir-crazy

So when Ivan shows up, she mentions that she'd like to go outside, even though she doesn't think he'll allow it.



Ivan: "The royal family has a riding course outside town. We can go there today."

Amaya: "Can we really?"



Ivan: "Of course you'll be training again, but if that's fine with you..."

Amaya: "Yes, it's fine!"

Ivan: "A wide space is better for running two horses side by side anyway."

And Ivan is going to ride, too! Hot damn, let's get going!

They go out of the city to the training arena. It's huge.



Ivan wants to start right away because they came so far and it ate into their time. He asks Amaya if she's prepared to train hard.

Amaya is getting used to handling a horse, when she feels something cold on her face. It's rain.


Please ignore the blue sky and sunbeams. Dark clouds have totally covered up the sun. *nods*

Amaya: "Shall we hurry back?"

Ivan: "No. It's too soon for you to be galloping. There's a small hut up ahead. Let's take refuge there for now."

By the time they reach the hut, it's pouring rain.


This looks less abandoned hut and more Silent Hill hospital room.

I'm scared Ivan. Hold me.

Ivan?

Amaya: "W-what are you doing?!"



Amaya: "What?"

This is all so sudden!



Ivan: "You'll catch a cold if you stay in those wet clothes."

Hey... what did they do with the horses? I hope they're not left outside in the pouring rain. Though, it'd be kind of awkward to get them into Alchemilla General Hospital the abandoned hut, and probably more to be romantic with them in there.

I kinda skipped over that screenshot. They're tied up to the porch pillars, so they're outside but they have some shelter. Horses don't usually mind rain. (Lightning and thunder, on the other hand...)

OK, good. Sorry, I just really like animals, and I worry about them. :(

So apparently this hut has a fireplace, I guess?

She takes off her outer clothes while Ivan gathers kindling and lights a fire.

Amaya: "Ivan. What can I do to help?"

Ivan: "Nothing at all. Sit down and relax."

Amaya: "But..."

Ivan: "It's fine. Please sit down quietly."

Amaya wonders if she did something to annoy Ivan. He won't even look at her. Then she realizes he's being modest; not because he's embarrassed, but because he's being considerate of her.

See? Perfect gentleman. Unlike SOME people. *cough*Lambert*cough*



Amaya goes and sits closer to the fire, but as soon as she does, Ivan turns away and leaves the fireside.
