Baklavah!? OMG I love Baklavah!! And I feel your pain, Nissua bread is EXTREAMLY taxing since the recipe usually calls for the bread to rise three times, also, braiding bread. Nagit notices she's not eating and asks if anything is wrong. She says she's thinking of visiting Ivan, and Nagit thinks it's a good idea, too.

I like to think she's just saying "ha ha" completely deadpan.

There's just one problem with her plan, however.

No one knows where this man's room is.


Lambert even asks the servants. (He's being decent. The sun has risen from the west, fish fly in the sky, birds swim under the sea, etc, etc.)

Servant A: "He always just appears before you know it..."

Servant B: "We don't know when he takes his breaks either."

Servant C: "He starts earlier and stops later than everyone else."

Ivan is a robot, apparently.

Chezem pipes up that something like this has happened before.



Chezem: "Yeah. Well, Alvah just dragged me along willy-nilly, though."

Chezem: "I was curious too, though."

Chezem: "So we left our room at night and tailed Ivan."

Interrupting here to say I think it's adorable that they used to share a room. Alvah probably drove Chezem bonkers. :3

Alvah: "Oh, right! You sure have a good memory!"

Chezem: "I'm not surprised you've forgotten."

Amaya: "What do you mean by that?"

Chezem: "We followed Ivan once he was done working, like we'd planned. Before we knew it, Ivan had led us down a hallway we weren't familiar with."



Everyone there is listening intently to Chezem.

Chezem: "Ivan had vanished."


This is scary. New theory: Ivan is a ghost.

Ivan: "There is a car waiting for you. They'll have all the details."



And with that, all of Ivan't rivals the princes are out of the way seeing to their duties.

As for Amaya...


She has a concern, though.

Amaya: "Umm, Ivan?"

Ivan: "What is it?"

Amaya: "I heard you were sick. Are you all right now?"

Ivan: "Yes. It's nothing to worry about. The King called the doctor because he said my voice sounded odd. He tends to go overboard with things."

Ivan: "I hope you are fine as well, Miss Amaya?"

Amaya: "Perfectly fine. I've always been tough."

Ivan: "Enjoy your breakfast while I prepare your horse."



She figures she was worried for nothing.

Amaya: (But I'm glad.)




And we're halfway done. 6 more chapters to go.

We're on to you, fluffy butler. If you came to work sick and collapse later we will be SEVERELY dissapointed in you.

There might be tears.

Of joy. Because then he can lead us back to his room and we can undress him and nurse our half-naked butler back to health.

After giggling like a mad woman at the thought of Alvah and Chezem sleeping in the same room, I have another thought, we are totally gonna end up seeing his room. And I'm willing to bet it has SOMETHING from his homeland.
