We are rapidly approaching 100. We'll only hit that point once; we should celebrate. Perhaps make a pie? One such as a cheesecake.
Spammers shouldn't count. Except for that one guy that was pushing his kickstarter and tried to engage.
Huh, Singul got "roughly touched, bruised easily." I like this new addendum. (Did he recently do something lulzy to get banned?)
Ah, so it's topical. Even better. It's too bad he was so douchey, but I like that the forum has ways of shutting that whole thing down.
You know, normally I'd agree with you but since this is about spammers, aka the lowest form of life on earth not even human fucking beings nothing but unorganized grabasstic pieces of amphibian shit, they can have the lesser dessert.
I believe that Fyodor Dostoevsky once said, "The degree of civilization on a forum can be judged by looking at its banned list." Hodor Dostoevsky, on the other hand, said, "Hodor."
Well, that's all the proof we need. The transition is complete. Lum is dead, long live Lum! Viva la Elyscape!
The leper colony is pretty lame. The whole first page are spambots and there's only one actual ban on the second page. I'd say it's not really serving purpose.
I've done an ugly hack to filter out spambot users from the leper colony. I cant figure out where the addon is calculating pagination so it displays far too many pages, but at least it's somewhat useful a thing now. I also need to figure out why we are seeing 50x the normal # of spammers of late.
Because there is an actual human being registering accounts and posting spam. Yes. Figure out the ramifications of THAT one.
The Curious Case of Kim Kasch, who made an account and requested that it be terminated without ever posting.
You never change your captcha question so spammers can macro correct answer while filling out the form. Shit, I only made one account and Lastpass memorized it for me.
I'm just assuming that they registered while under severely impaired judgment, then the next morning had a moment of clarity and ejected in time. I can respect that!
That's the case if there is a limited # of spammers, which IP tracking would argue against! Still I'll retire the ice ice baby pseudocaptcha for a real one, sigh.
She posted a message and then deleted it, which is why she shows 0 posts. As I recall the message wasn't literally spam but it was somewhat indistinguishable.
Please tell me one of the keycaptcha image-assembly is a picture of Vanilla Ice. If not, do they take suggestions?
