As the resident MLP fan and a proud sangry grognard this seems squarely aimed at furries. Liking cartoon ponies does not in itself equal wanting to anthropomorphize them and have them running around a nuclear wasteland in a bikini. For straight up pony mods Skyrim does it best.

Having seen them cozy up over a beer and compare favourite ponies, it's hard to tell. Kat has a strong initial impact due to his ink but Kalle has a great amount of determination even in the face of sustained mocking. I'd say they're neck and neck but do keep an eye out for Astromarine as the dark horse of the stable. I suspect a Kat, Kalle and Astro podcast on brigthly colored cartoon horses may be in store.
Which leads to a question of mine - why the title ? After all, aren't bronies sangry grognards that pretend otherwise ? As in longing for the time where they were not as sangry ? So, does the title imply lots of self-hugging, and are we all aware that you can go blind from that ?
I've self-identified as a sangry grognard, though I didn't know the terms at the time, since I was 13 years old and discovered that what I loved about my summer holidays was that it gave me free time to read history books about tanks. Brony-ism could not come before grognard-ism because there were no ponies until two years ago (whatever Jenn 's claims to the contrary).
