Which document scanner should I use to scan documents?

I'm looking for a good document scanner so that I can scan and discard all the bills and important receipts and stuff that I'm slowly accumulating. Has anybody had experience with any? What should I look into?

I don't have a useful suggestion so instead I'll criticize your post! Why are you scanning receipts? If it's for repair/exchange won't the shop require the original receipt?

Also sometimes you can get them to bend the rules, but primarily taxes.

I have the S1500 and love it. It won't do passports but driver's licenses and just about everything else are no problem.

The only trick I found to them is that you have to press and hold the scan button if it's a longer than normal receipt, otherwise it just reports an error/jam/whatever.

You chose wisely. I have the tier above that I think and it's been amazing. 40 pages at a time, front and back, etc. Also, the file cabinet software is kind of refreshingly simple in these days of walled-off proprietary forms of storage.
